Choosing the Forgiving Dream

You are the dreamer of the world of dreams. No other cause it has, nor ever will. Nothing more fearful than an idle dream has terrified God’s Son, and made him think that he has lost his innocence, denied his Father, and made war upon himself. …God willed he waken gently and with joy, and gave him means to waken without fear.

Accept the dream He gave instead of yours. It is not difficult to change a dream when once the dreamer has been recognized. Rest in the Holy Spirit, and allow His gentle dreams to take the place of those you dreamed in terror and in fear of death. Love is kind, gentle and makes no demands. Love/God has given us a gentle means to lead us out of the guilt and fear we experience in the world of separation. It is the forgiving dream the Holy Spirit brings us.

We are free to choose this forgiving dream in any moment. As we choose the forgiving dream, guilt diminishes and fear fades away. With each choice for the forgiving dream, we experience increased happiness and the blessing of letting Love into our awareness. The shadows that seem to darken our perception of our brothers fade as the Light of Love shines through, revealing the loving truth that is the Self in our brother and our selves. Our days become more peaceful, our relationships more loving.

Today we choose the forgiving dream by bringing all our less than peaceful thoughts to the Holy Spirit for His kind and gentle correction.
