I Will There Be Light

When illusions seem to cover us and make the fearful dream seem real, we can choose not to keep them. The consistent habit of choosing to see only Light is an invitation to the Holy Spirit to help us see every circumstance through the eyes of Love.

Saying, “I will there be Light,” invites the true perception of the Holy Spirit to show us what lies past the illusions of separation — He brings us to the eternal truth that we are still one in the Mind of God. We remember that are still as God created us, and nothing can harm God’s one Son.

As we accept Holy Spirit’s thoughts, we receive the peace of Heaven. The ego’s thoughts disappear because, when we choose the truth, what is not true disappears. The song of Heaven is heard clearly now and we feel the strength and vision of our true Self. The dream of separate bodies is no longer fearful and we can smile with Holy Spirit at our mistaken thoughts that we believed were true. We give thanks for our healed perception and our gratitude extends endlessly. We are in a world of Light and our acceptance of this truth allows us to become aware of It.

Today our practice is to say frequently to ourselves, “I will there be Light.” Our willingness throughout the day to see past illusions to the truth is an invitation to the Holy Spirit to guide us to the awareness our oneness with God’s eternal Creation. “I will there be Light” brings with it the willingness to return Home and see that we are eternally safe in God’s oneness.
