Let Go and Let God

Think not you understand anything until you pass the test of perfect peace, for peace and understanding go together and never can be found alone. (A Course in Miracles, T-14.12:4)

The practice of allowing our minds to quiet and open up to the healing Presence of God’s holy Light brings with it a healing river of peace that flows through our minds, cleansing our minds of the false ideas we are clinging to. This is the practice of letting go and letting God do His healing work.

When we get caught up in believing in the stories found in this world of separate bodies, we need to let go and let God to find the happiness we seek. We are still one with God, which means we are still one with all true eternal happiness, peace and unlimited joy.

When we believe in the world’s false stories, we forget our Source. We forget our true Identity. The pain of this forgetting reminds us to choose once again and return back to the healing waters of God’s peace. Letting go and letting God be in charge of minds is our practice for today.
