Let Holy Spirit Be My Interpreter

Robert:  If I am unhappy, discouraged, frustrated, impatient or disturbed in any way, to even the minutest degree, I have chosen the ego as my interpreter. All circumstances and events are neutral images. Because images are symbols, they must be interpreted.

In order to awaken from the dream of symbols, I must give all images to the Holy Spirit for His interpretation. His interpretation always leads to forgiveness, to letting go of false stories, to letting go of giving value to the valueless. His interpretation leads to awakening from the dream of images. It is why a core idea in A Course of Miracles is that I don’t know what anything means. This recognition opens the door to freedom. It helps me be willing to receive the Holy Spirit’s interpretation, which is always on behalf of my healing.

So today I will give myself the gift of practicing holding my mind open to the Holy Spirit’s interpretation of all things. I will see any disturbance as a gift that reminds me to turn it over to Holy Spirit for His reinterpretation. This is how I open my mind and heart to Love’s vision.

Mary:  A key for me to open to Holy Spirit’s interpretation is to practice stepping back, taking a deep breath and relaxing. This provides the crack in the door the Holy Spirit needs to bring me the peace that leads to the next step, which is allowing Holy Spirit’s peace to purify the false ideas which come into my mind.

Holy Spirit leads me to a deeper level of relaxation. I then invite Holy Spirit to come in even stronger. The letting go process goes even deeper and the level of peace gets stronger. I realize that my job is to receive God’s Love and extend God’s Love. I let the Holy Spirit take over and see that all is well right now. My service to the awakening is apparent. I feel the happiness that comes with letting go and letting God.
