Seeing Love’s Presence in the World

God is my life. I have no life but His.

I was mistaken when I thought I lived apart from God, a separate entity that moved in isolation, unattached, and housed within a body. ²Now I know my life is God’s, I have no other home, and I do not exist apart from Him. ³He has no Thoughts that are not part of me, and I have none but those which are of Him.

Our Father, let us see the face of Christ instead of our mistakes. ²For we who are Your holy Son are sinless. ³We would look upon our sinlessness, for guilt proclaims that we are not Your Son. ⁴And we would not forget You longer. ⁵We are lonely here, and long for Heaven, where we are at home. ⁶Today we would return. ⁷Our Name is Yours, and we acknowledge that we are Your Son. The face of Christ is a symbol of what we see with the vision of our true Self. This Self is God’s Son, wholly loving and innocent of any thoughts of harm. This is what we were created to be as God’s extension of Himself. And this is what we remain eternally.

It is a mistake to believe we are a body, existing in a world of other bodies. This belief imprisons us in a limited form that cannot know the joy that is ours in the oneness of God’s Love. It denies our real life which remains safe in the Mind of God. But we are free to change our beliefs and accept the life God shares with us.

The Holy Spirit is given us to help us awaken to our true Identity in the Mind of Love. Today we remind ourselves that on our own we do not know what anything means. We rely on the Holy Spirit to show us the presence of Love beneath all appearances in this world.
