The Light of God Is All There Is to See

Today it is my opportunity to accept Heaven where Heaven is — everywhere. When I think that something else is true, I am denying the reality of God. I am denying the reality of Heaven. Since only Heaven is real, when I pretend that Love’s opposite (separation) is real, I am sacrificing my awareness of Love’s Presence.

Today I let Holy Spirit bring me the thought reversal that frees me from the false ideas that were never true. The Holy Spirit will remind me that the Light of God is all there is to see. And for this I give thanks.

In many places in A Course in Miracles we are told that we are not a body. Belief that we are a body blocks awareness of Love’s Presence. Yet the dream provides convincing “evidence” that I am a body. I am separate, vulnerable and not one with anyone or anything. From the mindset that I am a body or even in a body, it is impossible to be aware that I remain within the oneness of Love’s Presence.

Fortunately there is a Thought within my mind that does not believe this story I tell myself. It is to this Thought that I must turn for help in reversing my belief in the story. To open my awareness to this Thought, I must allow myself to be in peace. I need to do whatever will help me relax, let go and settle into peace. In peace this Thought fills my mind and I clearly recognize that the images of separation are not real. In peace, this Thought shows me the oneness of Love’s Presence That is everywhere.

Today my practice is to stay in a peaceful state of mind so that the Thought That remembers the truth can help me see the Light of Love That is everywhere — the Light of Love That I am.
