True Healing Is Letting Go of Our Belief in Separation

The seemingly endless forms of problems in the world are just a disguise to hide from our awareness the one problem that underlies them all — the belief in separation. We scurry about, seeking to find solutions to the forms of the problems, sometimes seeming to succeed, only to have another problem crop up. On this futile effort, the ego smiles for it has succeeded in its primary goal, seek and do not find.

To free ourselves from this endless loop that leads nowhere, we must be willing to consider the possibility that we are wrong about what we perceive our problems are. A little doubt here goes a long way toward opening the door for Holy Spirit to show us the truth behind the facade of problems. Willingness to question what the problem is and asking Holy Spirit to help us see through to the one problem that underlies them all opens our minds to receive the real solution to the one problem.

Our practice today is to ask Holy Spirit’s help to see past the forms of problems that appear so that we can recognize the one underlying problem of belief in separation, and thus receive the one solution that will return us to the perfect happiness that is our natural state.
