We Go Together, You and I

Mary:
This morning we had our weekly Saturday morning teleconference working with course 918: The Power of Prayer and Meditation. The points to practice that stood out the most to me were, “We go together, you and I” and the importance of giving time in quiet to God.

The world is so filled with busyness and turmoil that I need constant reminders to step back and listen. I go with the flow more easily when I remember that the only purpose that means anything is to let go of my belief in separation and allow myself to return to the awareness of the oneness of Love’s Presence.

Each moment I am being given another opportunity to relax and let myself be guided by my inner Teacher rather than following the constant flow of desire that comes from the ego mind. Right now I feel so grateful to participate in the symphonic flow of awakening as we all follow Holy Spirit’s plan.

Robert:
What stood out to me in today’s teleconference session is that to be open to the Will of God I must be willing to let go of the past. This is why forgiveness is the central message of the Course. Forgiveness is another word for letting go of the past. The ego uses the past as a barrier against God’s present Love. The more I am able to be free from images of the past, the more I am receptive to God’s beneficent and loving Will.

Since God’s Will for me and everyone is perfect happiness, I really do want God’s Will for me. Today is another day to practice being mindful of my judgments and to offer them to the Holy Spirit for release so that I can experience Love’s Presence.
