A New Way to See

Another Ego Ploy

I recently received these thoughts from Spirit.

The ego judges and always wrongly.
To remove grievances from others and place them on yourself is not helpful or healing.

At times you feel like giving up in your lessons and in your vigilance. Still, your mind is not entirely owned by the tiny thought of separation.
When you notice feelings of defeat, give those to H.S. too—for the idea of struggle and defeat is only of the egoic thought system.
When you feel isolated and alone, don’t believe it. Those thoughts are meaningless—another ego ploy to have you feel weak and hopeless.

Somewhere you accepted the idea that you merited punishment for your guilty actions of your past.
You did not accept your self as pure and innocent as Love created you. But if you will accept the truth of Who walks with you,
eventually you will recognize and realize that you are pure and innocent, without any cause for guilt.

Think of Who walks with you—Who has never left you alone or friendless.
Allow yourself to open to the truth, and feel the Presence of Who walks with you.
You are never alone, nor have you ever been. Accept this now and be not confused on where you go.

What Do I Cherish?

Recently I was reviewing one of the 900 courses. I was given this insight for the question:
What do I cherish? That is what I will make real to me.

What do I cherish?  Anything that makes my specialness appear real. Even this illness makes the body seem special because it is “different” from other bodies.
Is this really true?? I really don’t need to have specialness to be loved. (I mistake specialness as love, attempting to replace the love I thought that God denied me.)

If I choose to value the individuality then I perpetuate the ego party and my sleeping. If I choose again, with Holy Spirit in charge,
I free my brothers and myself from the past, from all mistaken beliefs harbored within the specialness dream.
To choose again is to choose for healing, forgiving what never happened, forgiving the dream (world) I thought I made.

WB Lesson 106

This is what I received after reading Lesson 106.

  Let me be still and listen to the truth. What does it mean to give and to receive?

You mistake that getting something in form is receiving. When you receive a “thing” you feel happy yet it is a fleeting happiness.
There is a dark thought that believes you do not deserve this thing that has been given you. With this goes the belief that you can lose by having some thing taken away.
This would maintain that you are a body and nothing more. This idea you need to question: Is this true?
What you mistake for truth is merely something that you would keep as valuable. How can it be that some thing that Love did not create merit value?
There is no thing that is better or less than the creation of Love. What do you want to value? Truth or illusions of love?

(me) When I judge someone as foolish and wrong for something they value, I am making the illusion real in both our minds. What they choose to value has nothing to do with me—-
I have no need to judge their perceptions or values. If I am judging any thing, it is a clue of some fear that I have buried in my mind.
Anything I perceive without the Guidance of my true Self, will be wrong, and in need of correction. When I judge another’s valuing, I am condemning my own values.
If I try to make my values better then theirs, it is the certain signal that my secret belief is that my values are misplaced, wrong too.

My values are shown to me by the world I “see” around me. I see a world of people and things because a tiny thought values autonomy.
I must learn that being an individual with specialness is not what I want or value. I must remember that to see a world without guilt is valuable.
A world released from my guilty projections and perceptions is what I really want and value.
When I perceive something wrong in my world—- that is the sign that I hold an unconscious belief that there is something wrong with me.
My hidden fears are projected out of mind, but not released!

WorkBook Lesson 99

After this morning’s lesson, this came to mind.

[me] What is the meaning of anything?

Spirit: In Reality, meaning is love, there is nothing to obscure the Love that is All.

In the real world, perception is healed so that Love is seen beyond every illusion. The meaning given to the perception is undone because Love is recognized.

In the illusory world meaning is laid on everything from a tiny thought that knows not of Love. This tiny thought knows fear and thus is all it’s view and it’s world filled with and made of fear. The illusory world stands as testament to the beliefs held by the tiny thought.
Meaning in the illusory world based on fear can only be a call for help and healing.
In itself it is nothing. Meaning is given to anything, to make opposites, duality and separateness seem real.

Dear Child, do not fear to look at the tiny thought and all it’s ideas. This tiny thought cannot maintain without your cooperation. Without your support, interest, or desires, the tiny thought will fade away and your awareness will hold only truth.
In your present moment, the Presence of Love is known, and all false thoughts are seen as they are.
The unreal is let go, the real is kept in the holy mind along with you.
