A New Way to See

Have No Past

Recently these thoughts were given to me from Spirit.

Your sinlessness is guaranteed by God.
If you are sinless (and you are as God created you) there is nothing about your true Self that needs forgiveness. Your real Self is forever pure, wholly perfect and complete in Love. You are the same as Love and this has never changed.

What if you had no past? No recording of what happened “when” or who did “what.” No list of rights and wrongs; no judgments of what was good or bad.
Imagine that you have no past and look on the world anew. For without a history you cannot compare situations, circumstances or encounter with what is now. Without a history based on misunderstandings and misperceptions, you have a clean slate, an open mind to accept the present moment simply as it is, without fault or guilt.

There is no lack here (within). You are safe. You are never alone. In truth this thought does not mean anything. It shows a fear based idea on which all errors in thinking rest.

Relinquish the idea that you left your Father! the tiny mad idea that you did not release has made the world you “see,” for a body that is not there. You asked your Father for an impossible, exclusive love, which could never be. Thinking that you were without God, or Love, you sought approval from images in the dream.

Anyone whom you have ever looked for approval or acceptance from only represented your Father. Your whole dream has been made to find acceptance, but it cannot be found in a dream of separateness. By following an insane thought system you will never find what you seek. The power of decision is your own, and your choice will make all things real or false to you. Be not fearful or intimidated by the images made by a false mind. They cannot harm you in truth. The Teacher of Love rescinds all the insane ideas of separation. Are you willing to let go of your sacred ideas? Are you willing to want only Love?

Love’s Gratitude

Recently I listened to the first workshop of “LACIM” coordinated and facilitated by Rev. Jennifer Hadley. [Living A Course In Miracles] 

What the ‘homework’ she offered showed me: how and when I think I know anything, I’m making a judgment. (Something or someone is good or bad, right or wrong.) When I think I’m “right” about anything, I’m not forgiving. And another way of letting go is telling Holy Spirit that I am not interested in that thought (story) any more.

In the reading today, WB lesson 195, Love is the way I walk in gratitude, this is what came to me.

“Love makes no comparisons.” Love judges not, knowing that all are the same, there are no differences, no right and wrong.

Forgiving my judgments is how I make room for gratitude. As I let go and let Love just Be, then I am aware of Love’s gratitude for me, because I am then being the communication device for Love. “Your gratitude to Him [God] is one with His to you.” W-195.10

We are all in God’s ocean of Love. “We thank our Father for one thing alone; that we are separate from no living thing and therefore one with HIm.” W-195.6

Let go of all ideas of what I think I am, and where I think I am. Forgiveness allows me to see the wholeness of God’s Love. Nothing and no one is left out.

WB Lesson 140 “CliffsNotes”

“CliffsNotes” Lesson 140

Only salvation can be said to cure.
This is the thought that cures: There is no place where holiness is not, and nowhere sin and sickness (guilt) can abide. It is merely an appeal to truth, this thought only focuses on what truth is, and knows that no illusion can be real.

Today we go beyond appearances and reach the source of healing, from which nothing is exempt. We will be still and listen for the Voice of healing that cures all ills as one, restoring saneness to the Son of God (that is my Self).

Only salvation can be said to cure. Speak to us, Father, that we may be healed (whole and happy).
And we will feel forgiveness (love, salvation) cover us with soft protection, and peace so deep that no illusion can disturb our minds nor offer proof that it is real. This is the day healing comes to us, separation ends and we remember Who we really are.

~~My mistaken, meaningless thoughts would keep me believing in the false illusions. They would keep me believing that separation is real and that I am forever condemned, at the mercy of a vengeful god. Only in my delusions can the meaningless appear to be true or real.
The truth is I remain as God created me, I am His Son eternally.

WB Lesson 139 ‘CliffsNotes’

“I will accept Atonement for myself, For I remain as God created me.”

All conflict entails this single simple question: “What am I?”
Who could ask this question except one who has refused to recognize himself? If he asks as if he does not know, it merely shows he does not want to be the thing he is.
Your denial has made no change in what you are. But you have split your mind into what knows and does not know the truth.

Atonement remedies the strange idea that it is possible to doubt yourself and be unsure of what you really are. Nothing the world believes is true. Only acceptance can be asked of you, for what you are is certain. It is set forever in the holy Mind of God, and in your own [holy mind]. What we accept as what we are proclaims what everyone must be, along with us.

We have not lost the knowledge that God gave to us when He created us like Him.
We can remember it for everyone, for in creation [love] are all minds as one.

God’s Love contains them all.
We are all from Love, created like Love and have never left Love.

WB Lesson 136

This is what stood out to me in this lesson.

“CliffsNotes”

The aim of all defenses is to keep the truth from being whole. Defenses make facts unrecognizable.

Sickness “proves” the body is not separate from you, and so you must be separate from the truth. Thus is the body stronger then truth, ..... Yet who believes illusions but the one who make them up?

God knows not of your plan to change His Will. Defenses are plans to defeat what cannot be attacked. Truth wants to give you happiness, for such its purpose is. Truth has a power far beyond defense, for no illusions can remain where truth has been allowed to enter.

(Practice) Sickness is a defense against the truth. I will accept the truth of what I am, and let my mind be wholly healed today.

If I let my mind harbor attack thoughts, yield to judgments, or make plans against uncertainties to come, I have again mistaken myself, and made a bodily identity in which I will attack the body, for my mind is sick. My instant remedy is to tell myself:
I have forgotten what I really am, for I mistook my body for myself. Sickness is a defense against the truth. But I am not a body. And my mind cannot attack. So I cannot be sick.

WB Lesson 129

Thoughts that came to me with this days lesson.

I loose the world from all I thought it was.
This world holds nothing that I want. Beyond this world there is a world I want.

What came to me:
The past holds nothing that I want. I give the past all the meaning it has for me.
I see only the past in all I look on; there is another way of seeing this.

I can escape the past by giving up attack thoughts. I have invented the past I see. There is another way of looking at the past. I could see peace instead of the past. No one can fail who releases the past. The past is a defense against the truth.

Maker of My Thoughts

I am the maker of my thoughts. My thoughts “produce” what I seem to see. The images I see are only my thoughts. I perceive what I want to be true. Why would I want separation? Just so I can say I made my self? Just for specialness?

I am responsible for my thoughts. But rejecting them does not remove them, it slides them into a dark corner of the mind. Only by taking my unloving, unshared thoughts to the light, will they be removed, better, transformed. By hiding my fear thoughts in the dark I think they can come back and attack me. I think that they have weight or reality. Only by taking my rejected thoughts to the light of Love do I recognize their unreality. In light their meaninglessness is clear. Only Loving thoughts are real or true. Anything that is not from Love is false or nothing.

When I rest my mind in the idea only loving thoughts are true/real, I relax. I am willing to let go of the fear thoughts. I am willing to relinquish my hold on the thoughts of separateness. I’m willing to accept that I have been wrong and I want correction only from/by the hand of Love. My fear thoughts are not here nor anywhere. My fear thoughts are nothing and nowhere. Being nothing they have no power. Yet by my belief they appear real and that is the power of my mind.

Only Loving thoughts are real.
I relax and allow loving thoughts to come to mind.
Forgiveness = loving thoughts.

I am free to forgive all my unreal thinking. I am free to forgive every fear thought I ever made.
There is only Love, only Love is.
