False Game of Honesty

Dear Everyone,

Recently in a sleeping dream, I was given an example of how the ego uses honesty to play the “one-upmanship” game. Such as: if I’m honest even without regard for your feelings, that makes me “superior.” But that is only an attack on the brother an attempt to make him “less than.” And if I use such devices, I keep more guilt then the ‘honest’ disclosure would erase. The game of honesty is cruel indeed in the hands of the ego.

Spirit: To be honest is to be truthful to your self. Being honest with your self, is to look at beliefs, thoughts, idols, not without fear but with the Holy Spirit. It is never a mistake to be honest with the H.S. The mistake is pushing down or denying some thought that keeps you in fear. When you hide some thought or belief from your awareness, you can be sure that you have mistaken the ego for your teacher, and have mistaken a lie for the truth. The Holy Spirit is your true Teacher, and would never make you more fearful. He only takes fear from your mind as you are willing; He restores the simple truth to you.

Dear Child, you came “here” to forgive the false, to overlook the lies and deception of an insane mind. The belief in guilt has made it insane, making the impossible seem real, the illusion seem solid. Your only purpose is to let go of the false beliefs, letting go of idols that hide the light and love in you. To know your Light, you must look past the form of your brothers, to the holy Light that they are and have always been.

Ask that your perception be corrected, ask to see the truth of your brothers.
This is all you need do—-  for so long you have thought there was nothing wrong with your sight and perception. You did not question what you saw. Yet what you “saw” was only your thoughts, appearing as an image. It is the same as the night dreaming. Thoughts are projected onto the screen of your mind and you think they are real.

With corrected perception, which is healed perception, you have no doubt about the innocence and purity of your brothers. You witness only the Light and Love that radiates from their Being. With healed perception, you know that you can only love your brothers, and that is no mistake. This is all you need, and all you want.

A Sick Thought

Dear Everyone, I share with you a sick thought that popped into mind today. I am grateful that I was willing to open to H.Spirit’s Voice and listen to His words.

The egoic system asks: “how can I do good while I am so vile?”
(Spirit) Dear One, you have no idea of all the good you do when you let go. Letting go of the past is the most loving thing you can do.

When you seek H.S.’s correction or guidance, you are asking to release the past as you made it. To see differently is to ‘see’ without the past, without the meanings that were devised and applied to each and every picture. The past is gone. What is only illusory can hardly hold meaning. The egoic mind seeks to keep the past and its misperceptions and judgments as real. The ego weeps each time an idol falls. It would hold tightly to the past, making sure there is no present and no future unlike its past.
Yet still it plasters the mind with expectations of glory or fame or wealth. And when these are attained, they are not good enough; if not attained then it makes the world unfair to you. So it holds that the past is always here, that you cannot escape from it. This might be true in dreams, but it has nothing to do with truth or Reality.

Child, you are learning! Bit by bit, you are letting go of the teachings of an insane teacher. You are learning that you do not want the “gifts” that the ego system offers you. You are learning to decline the gifts, no matter how beguiling they seem.
Did you not learn that being happy had nothing to do with the worldly events or people around you? Did you not learn that happiness is your choice?  And a gift to others?

Yes! you did. You cannot forget the truth of what you learned, however distant it may seem. Your holiness is guaranteed by God, by Love and all of Heaven. You must be holy because He is. You must be whole because He is whole. Nothing can, will, or ever has changed All That Is.

Begin Again

Dear Everyone,

This morning I opened to H.S. when I woke:  Holy Spirit, I feel so hopeless; discouraged; alone.       
I want to start over. I want to stop thinking that I know anything. Where do I begin?

Spirit: Dear Sara, you have chosen again. Yes, of course you can begin again——it is this you do whenever you choose again. You misunderstood your task, believing that you had to change every single thought of fear when it appeared. All that you really need do, is to let go of any thought that discomforts you, allowing that it be given to me. That is my function; I am here to relieve you of the burdens and the mistaken concepts that you hold. I am here to show you what is valuable and what is not.

You asked: “What am I here to learn?” Dear one, your only purpose is to let go of fear. Fear thoughts do not serve you, not in any way, shape or form. Any instant that you let go of fear, the Light flows through you from Heaven and touches all the sleeping minds. In letting go of fear thoughts, you fill your function. By letting go of what is unreal, the real is revealed to you. You allow the Truth to fill the spot that fear once held. All you need do, is give the fear thought to me. Your little willingness has all the strength of Heaven upholding it. When you let go of the meaningless (fear) the whole beauty of Truth radiates through and around you. Love extends without end, without disruption. Your true Heart abides in the radiance of Love.

Return to your workbook lessons. Observe the thoughts that pop up and do not be tempted to use them as an excuse to retreat or stop the lessons. You deserve to be wholly in peace, you deserve to wholly happy, you deserve complete, unshakable Love. As you choose to let go of fear, Love will comfort you. You truly have nothing to lose, only the removal of false ideas. By removing fear thoughts, you reveal that you have it all, just as you were created. You allow Love to be as It is. And as you are.

The Good News Is….

Dear Everyone,
The last couple of mornings, I was given these messages.
I am ever grateful that Spirit repeats and repeats His messages of Love, no matter how dense or stubborn my mind seems to be.
I know that is really is as simple as choosing again, for I have experienced the ‘change’ in all aspects of my “life” when I choose
to be happy, choose to keep a helpful/loving view of my world. Let me remember, let me remember!

Spirit: What is it the ego has really given you?
The good news is the Light is within you.
The “bad” news is you have to stop listening to the ego.

This is highly threatening to the ego system—for once you realize it’s un-reality and un-lovingness, you will not value it any longer. The value that you have given it
is solely in your mind. And it is only there that it needs to be undone.

I cannot help if you will not listen. I cannot go against your will. I cannot undo fear without your willingness to let go of it.

I am with you—and will never leave you. But the false mind thinks that it (and you) are alone because it chose to believe and make separation real. Separation is not real,
only a mad delusion from a sick mind. It is not this that you want. What is real cannot be threatened. What is unreal does not exist. Therein is the peace of God.

The Love that you Are has never changed. That Love is Real. What is Real cannot be changed. It is not threatened. Love is Real. What is Real is unchanged. You are Love.

The split mind has denied this truth. It tries to keep it’s illusions. It would not have you remember the truth. It tries to make any thing, any image, valuable to replace truth.
Do not accept it’s imitations as valuable.
Let go of the imitations and accept what I offer you. I offer truth, and hold it for you while you go from dream to dream. The dreams will not last.
You will wake. You will desire the truth, and peace and joy above all else. You are Love, guaranteed by God. Accept this now, and let the rest go.

My Illusory Struggle

Dear Everyone,

I feel like I’ve been in a struggle with the false mind, mainly because I have been listening to it. I have given my self the illusion of immobility, weakness, and function failure. I have allowed resistance to replace the gentle Voice that speaks for truth. I have invited in the voice for doubt, incrimination, judgment, guilt and shame. It is the voice that thinks it knows, it thinks it has control, but is only illusion.

It is my choice of which voice I will listen to, which teacher I will follow. I see that I need to return to being the observer, to observe the thoughts that range through my mind. To observe the habitual thoughts that pretend to be helpful, the comfort zone thoughts that hide the fear based on the idea of separation.

I was reminded of how I had a different attitude when I was first diagnosed with “my condition.” That attitude was that everything happens for a purpose, that I had a purpose in accepting or making up the illness. That if I allowed, Holy Spirit would use this situation for the healing of minds. I remembered that I was a messenger for Love, no matter what the outer circumstances looked like.
I was willing to listen to the Voice for Love, and accept It’s council and direction. I was willing to accept the peace that comes with His Voice for Love. That is what is missing in this second experience, the attitude of gratitude.

Once more, I am willing to lay down the belief that I know what anything is for, what anything means in my daily experience. I remind my self, that I am not alone, that I have a true Companion Who abides with me, and will show me all that I need to “see” and supply all that I think I need in my dream. I remind my self that it is this judgment alone that I can depend on, and be guided by, and not my own judging.

❦Father, I deepen my resolve to be open and willing to abide with Holy Spirit’s guidance, all through the day and night.
I commit to listening to the Voice that you have given me. And so It Is.
Thank You very much.❦
