Accepting the Peace of God Is My Top Priority

The peace of God is everything I want. The peace of God is my one goal; the aim of all my living here, the end I seek, my purpose and my function and my life, while I abide where I am not at home. (A Course in Miracles Workbook Lesson 205, W-pI.205.1:2-3. See also ACIM Lesson 205 Insights.)

The peace of God is always there in our mind behind all the barriers we place before it, waiting to be accepted. Our one focus now is to make accepting peace and extending peace our highest priority. As we receive peace we naturally extend it to the world because we are inherently one mind… one Spirit of Love.

Accepting the beingness of peace brings Holy Spirit’s inspiration with it. Accepting God’s peace brings awareness of the truth.

In truth the innocence of Christ is all there is to see. The truth dissolves all false ideas, all judgments, and shines a light on the Love behind images of separation and differences. As we practice choosing peace first, our way is made clear before us. Fear disappears and we remember we walk with God.
