Accepting the Love of the Holy Spirit

When we judge we make a barrier against God’s Love, for Love does not condemn. Judgment automatically brings guilt with it and guilt brings fear of Love.

Because the Holy Spirit is the Voice for Love, when we feel guilty, we are afraid of the Holy Spirit’s guidance and will not accept it into our awareness. The choice to receive the Holy Spirit’s guidance is the choice to let go of guilt and welcome Love. This is why it is essential that we consistently practice bringing all our guilt, all our judgments, all our fears, to the Holy Spirit and ask for His help to let them go.

This is how we forgive. We need only bring these issues to the Holy Spirit with willingness to receive His loving correction. The Holy Spirit does the rest. This willingness clears the way for us to exchange the thought system of guilt and fear for the awareness of the Love we are eternally. It is the exchange of hell for Heaven, of depression for joy.

Today our practice is to be vigilant for the thoughts that are barriers to Love and bring them to the Holy Spirit in our minds to receive His vision that will aways show us that only Love is real.
