Awakening to the Love We Are

The real world holds a counterpart for each unhappy thought reflected in your world; a sure correction for the sights of fear and sounds of battle which your world contains. The real world shows a world seen differently, through quiet eyes and with a mind at peace. Nothing but rest is there. There are no cries of pain and sorrow heard, for nothing there remains outside forgiveness. And the sights are gentle. Only happy sights and sounds can reach the mind that has forgiven itself.

The real world is the symbol that the dream of sin and guilt is over, and God’s Son no longer sleeps. His waking eyes perceive the sure reflection of his Father’s Love; the certain promise that he is redeemed. The real world signifies the end of time, for its perception makes time purposeless. The ego’s world reflects the belief that separation is real and guilt is justified. The real world is seen through loving eyes, which see only the innocence of Love. Belief in separation creates a veil that interferes with the clear vision of our true Self. Like cataracts cloud our seeing in the world, unforgiveness interferes with Christ’s vision.

We release this interference through forgiveness — letting go of our judgments. When all judgments have been forgiven, we see only the real world reflected all around us. The quiet peace and joy of changeless Love is all we see, for we have awakened from the dream of separation. We have accepted God’s gifts to His Son and we are welcomed Home.
