Claiming Our Identity as Love

I feel the Love of God within me now.

²The Love of God is what created me. ³The Love of God is everything I am. ⁴The Love of God proclaimed me as His Son. ⁵The Love of God within me sets me free.”

I choose the joy of God instead of pain.

²Pain is my own idea. ³It is not a Thought of God, but one I thought apart from Him and from His Will. ⁴His Will is joy, and only joy for His beloved Son. ⁵And that I choose, instead of what I made.

⁶I am not a body. ⁷I am free.

To the ego, judgment is necessary for survival. Judgment affirms that separation is real. Without it, the ego would simply cease to seem to exist. The ego’s judgments are all based on illusions and misperceptions. Perceptions begin with the idea that something external exists to be observed. This further affirms the “reality” of separation.

The Love that is our true Identity sees nothing external. It knows Its oneness with all that is real. In this certainty is perfect peace. There is nothing that exists to disturb its peace. Today we are reminded to claim our true Identity by accepting that we are Love and nothing else.
