Following the Guide to Our Completion

Everyone in this world has experienced a sense of being incomplete, that something is missing. This is the inevitable effect of denying the Source of our completion. This world was made by the thought of separation to offer substitutes for our completion. We will never find completion in the world because substitutes are never the real thing.

To find completion, we need to look where it can be found. To do this we need to follow the Guide Who knows where it is. This Guide does not lead us to empty substitutes. It will always lead us past all seeming barriers to the full recognition that we remain complete in God’s Love. There is nothing else. This Guide leads us on a journey of awakening from the past, which is never here.

Each time we bring a thought from the past into our present awareness, our Guide will show us that it has no substance and cannot affect us. We need only be willing to be shown the truth. Today our practice is to hold our minds open to be shown the truth in each moment so that we may return to our completion, which was never lost.
