Freeing Ourselves to Be Happy

This is the Thought [God still is Love, and this is not His Will] whose function is to save by giving you its function as your own. Salvation is your function, with the One [Holy Spirit] to Whom the plan was given. Now are you entrusted with this plan, along with Him. He has one answer to appearances; regardless of their form, their size, their depth or any attribute they seem to have:

Salvation is my only function here.
God still is Love, and this is not His Will.

You who will yet work miracles, be sure you practice well the idea for today. Try to perceive the strength in what you say, for these are words in which your freedom lies. Your Father loves you. All the world of pain is not His Will. Forgive yourself the thought He wanted this for you. Then let the Thought with which He has replaced all your mistakes enter the darkened places of your mind that thought the thoughts that never were His Will. God has given us a plan that will free us from the dream of fear and guilt. There are two parts to His plan. He gave us His Voice, the Holy Spirit, to ensure that you could still receive His communication beyond the ego’s wall of denial of God’s Love. And He gave the Holy Spirit the function to help us forgive our belief in the ego’s denial of Love. God ensured that we could never break our eternal unity with Him.

The thought, “God is still Love, and this is not His Will,” gives us leverage to disconnect from our belief in the ego’s lies. When anything disturbs our peace, we can use this thought to remind ourselves that the ego’s belief system is not true. This reminder helps us disconnect from our allegiance to the ego and make way for the Holy Spirit to help us let go of our mistaken beliefs. It is our willingness to accept the Holy Spirit’s help that frees us to remember that we are still Love at Home in God. it frees us to accept that our will is the same as God’s Will — to be Love, in changeless peace and perfect happiness.
