Giving Today to Love

Today belongs to love. Let me not fear.

Father, today I would let all things be as You created them, and give Your Son the honor due his sinlessness; the love of brother to his brother and his Friend. ²Through this I am redeemed. ³Through this as well the truth will enter where illusions were, light will replace all darkness, and Your Son will know he is as You created him.

A special blessing comes to us today, from Him Who is our Father. ²Give this day to Him, and there will be no fear today, because the day is given unto love. (A Course in Miracles, W-274. See also ACIM Lesson 274 Insights.)

The myriad appearances of conflict in the world today seem to justify fear and guilt. Today we are given an opportunity to see the world differently. Our true Self sees only Love or a call for Love. There is only the appearance of conflict where there is a belief that lack of Love is possible. This belief is the call for Love that needs to be answered. 

Giving this day to Love means we are committed to answering calls for Love with Love. We let Love guide us in all our thoughts and actions. The Light of Love shows us that appearances of conflict are based on false beliefs. It reveals the oneness of Love beyond the appearance of differences.

Today we choose to identify with the Love that is our true Self. We let It guide all our thoughts and actions. Images of conflict will fade in Its Light. We feel the comfort and certainty that unites us in the Love that remains our true Identity.
