Christ’s Vision Sees Our Glory as God’s Son

Only my condemnation injures me.

²My condemnation keeps my vision dark, and through my sightless eyes I cannot see the vision of my glory. ³Yet today I can behold this glory and be glad.

It can be but my gratitude I earn.

²Who should give thanks for my salvation but myself? ³And how but through salvation can I find the Self to Whom my thanks are due?

⁴I am not a body. ⁵I am free.

Judgment denies oneness. It depends upon seeing differences. When we accept the oneness of the Love we are, we see no differences, nothing to judge. This is why forgiveness is the key to our salvation. It clears away the veil that hides the glory of the Love we are.

Today we choose Christ’s vision as our Guide. It will show us the Love that unifies and makes whole. It shows us the unity we share with everyone and everything in the oneness of God’s Love. With Christ’s vision, we set aside all judgments and welcome the truth of our glory as God’s Son.

Making Every Day Happy

Today I let Christ’s vision look upon
all things for me and judge them not,
but give each one a miracle of love instead.

So would I liberate all things I see, and give to them the freedom that I seek. ²For thus do I obey the law of love, and give what I would find and make my own. ³It will be given me, because I have chosen it as the gift I want to give. ⁴Father, Your gifts are mine. ⁵Each one that I accept gives me a miracle to give. ⁶And giving as I would receive, I learn Your healing miracles belong to me.

Our Father knows our needs. ²He gives us grace to meet them all. ³And so we trust in Him to send us miracles to bless the world, and heal our minds as we return to Him. (A Course in Miracles, W-349. See also ACIM Lesson 349 Insights.)

When we choose Christ’s vision, we see only opportunities to extend Love. In every moment we let Love flow through us. In the oneness of Love, we see the Love in everyone and recognize It as the truth. With Christ’s vision we join with the Love everywhere.

There is no need for defense because there is nothing separate from What we are. We dwell and live in Love. We see everyone as brother, for we remember everyone shares one Father. It is a Life of joy. The joy of extending Love makes every day a happy day.

We Let the Light of Love Shine

Into His Presence would I enter now.

This is a day of silence and of trust. ²It is a special time of promise in your calendar of days. ³It is a time Heaven has set apart to shine upon, and cast a timeless light upon this day, when echoes of eternity are heard. ⁴This day is holy, for it ushers in a new experience; a different kind of feeling and awareness. ⁵You have spent long days and nights in celebrating death. ⁶Today you learn to feel the joy of life.

Today it will be given you to feel a touch of Heaven, though you will return to paths of learning. ²Yet you have come far enough along the way to alter time sufficiently to rise above its laws, and walk into eternity a while. ³This you will learn to do increasingly, as every lesson, faithfully rehearsed, brings you more swiftly to this holy place and leaves you, for a moment, to your Self.

³Nothing is needed but today’s idea [into His Presence would I enter now] to light your mind, and let it rest in still anticipation and in quiet joy, wherein you quickly leave the world behind.

From this day forth, your ministry takes on a genuine devotion, and a glow that travels from your fingertips to those you touch, and blesses those you look upon. ²A vision reaches everyone you meet, and everyone you think of, or who thinks of you. ³For your experience today will so transform your mind that it becomes the touchstone for the holy Thoughts of God. The Light of God’s Love is in us now and forever. But it is hidden from our awareness by the ego’s denial. This leaves us without awareness of the strength, Life and power that is in us. It is exhausting to maintain a dream of being separate from our Creator.

Today we are called to pause in the dream and welcome the presence of Love within. As we accept this Love, we find peace. We find the oneness that unites us with every brother in the Heart of Love. This thought of Love radiates from us to everyone and awakens them to the peace within. When we pause to welcome the Light of Love, we become beacons of hope and happiness. The Light is in us now and we let it shine.

Being Thankful for the Truth of Love

Be in my mind, my Father, through the day.

Be in my mind, my Father, when I wake, and shine on me throughout the day today. ²Let every minute be a time in which I dwell with You. ³And let me not forget my hourly thanksgiving that You have remained with me, and always will be there to hear my call to You and answer me. ⁴As evening comes, let all my thoughts be still of You and of Your Love. ⁵And let me sleep sure of my safety, certain of Your care, and happily aware I am Your Son.

This is as every day should be. ²Today, practice the end of fear. ³Have faith in Him Who is your Father. ⁴Trust all things to Him. ⁵Let Him reveal all things to you, and be you undismayed because you are His Son. (A Course in Miracles, W-232. See also ACIM Lesson 232 Insights.)

Gratitude is key to awakening to the Love we are. The ego is the antithesis of gratitude. It is never satisfied with the present moment. It wants to change things and make them to its own liking. Even when it seems to succeed at this, it is not satisfied. Its underlying attitude is to seek and not find. Dissatisfaction is its general state of mind. It began with the thought of dissatisfaction with the oneness of God’s Love.

The way out of this dismal perspective is thanksgiving for the truth. When we are grateful for Love, grateful for the Self God created as the extension of Love, we experience the satisfaction that comes from remembering we are one in the Love of God.

Today we call upon our true Self and welcome Its vision, which sees only Love because that is what It is. Fear disappears as we recognize the Love in which we dwell; the Love that is every brother. This is the eternal gift we give to ourselves, our brothers and our Creator.

We Live in Love

Fear is not justified in any form.

Fear is deception. ²It attests that you have seen yourself as you could never be, and therefore look upon a world which is impossible. ³Not one thing in this world is true. ⁴It does not matter what the form in which it may appear. ⁵It witnesses but to your own illusions of yourself. ⁶Let us not be deceived today. ⁷We are the Sons of God. ⁸There is no fear in us, for we are each a part of Love Itself.

How foolish are our fears! ²Would You allow Your Son to suffer? ³Give us faith today to recognize Your Son, and set him free. ⁴Let us forgive him in Your Name, that we may understand his holiness, and feel the love for him which is Your Own as well. Only if we are vulnerable to change is fear justified. But God is one, changeless and changeable. What He creates is invulnerable like Himself. He gives all of Himself to His Creations, so His Creations share His invulnerability.

We have made an image of our self that denies the invulnerability of God’s Creations. This is what we believe we must defend. We are afraid that this self-made identity may be taken away from us. We believe we need to defend it and protect it because it represents our life to us. But this is not the life we share with God. It is just an idol we worship, believing it brings us something we want.

We pay for this with fear, but it need not be. The truth of What we are remains unaffected by this made up image. It is time to forgive the wish that made this image. We are not a body. We are not separate and alone. We do not live in a loveless world. Our Self, the Son of God, lives in Love eternally.

Today we ask the Holy Spirit to help us heal the fearful thoughts that accompany the false identity we have accepted as our own. We want to remember the Love we are. We want to see that Love in every brother. As we accept His help, we will awaken to our eternal Self in Love.

Being a Guiding Light

I merely follow, for I would not lead.

Father, You are the One Who gave the plan for my salvation to me. ²You have set the way I am to go, the role to take, and every step in my appointed path. ³I cannot lose the way. ⁴I can but choose to wander off a while, and then return. ⁵Your loving Voice will always call me back, and guide my feet aright. ⁶My brothers all can follow in the way I lead them. ⁷Yet I merely follow in the way to You, as You direct me and would have me go.

So let us follow One Who knows the way. ²We need not tarry, and we cannot stray except an instant from His loving Hand. ³We walk together, for we follow Him. ⁴And it is He Who makes the ending sure, and guarantees a safe returning home. We are never alone. There is always One with us Whose Love exceeds what words can describe. We can count on Him to guide us in the way of kindness, compassion and helpfulness. We need only follow His direction to follow the way that leads to peace of mind, happiness and Love without limit.

As we do this we let the Light of Love in us shine through. Our Light shows the way for our brothers to follow and join with us. Together we awaken to our Home in Heaven.

Extending the Blessing of Love’s Unity

The lilies [holiness] that your brother offers you are laid upon your altar, with the ones you offer him beside them. ²Who could fear to look upon such lovely holiness? ³The great illusion of the fear of God diminishes to nothingness before the purity that you will look on here. ⁴Be not afraid to look. ⁵The blessedness you will behold will take away all thought of form, and leave instead the perfect gift [Love] forever there, forever to increase, forever yours, forever given away.

Now are we one in thought [Love], for fear has gone. ²And here, before the altar to one God, one Father, one Creator and one Thought, we stand together as one Son of God. ³Not separate from Him Who is our Source; not distant from one brother who is part of our one Self Whose innocence has joined us all as one, we stand in blessedness, and give as we receive. ⁴The Name of God is on our lips. ⁵And as we look within, we see the purity of Heaven shine in our reflection of our Father’s Love.

Fear is inevitable in the dream of separation. There appears to be something or someone separate from us who can attack us. We do not believe we remain united with the strength of the Love that created us. But in the reality of Love’s oneness, there is no “other.” We remain the Thought of Love, which extends the Source of Love. In this Thought there is only unity. We are together with every brother as Love’s extension, the Son of God.

In this thought of our oneness is perfect peace and the joy of extending Love. We ask the Holy Spirit’s help to see the Love that unites us. We are blessed by this Love and naturally extend the blessing as we recognize our brothers are one with us in Love.
