Joining Our Will with God’s

Have confidence in your Father today, and be certain that He has heard you and answered you. You may not recognize His answer yet, but you can indeed be sure that it is given you and you will yet receive it. Try, as you attempt to go through the clouds to the light, to hold this confidence in your mind. Try to remember that you are at last joining your will to God’s. Try to keep the thought clearly in mind that what you undertake with God must succeed. Then let the power of God work in you and through you, that His Will and yours be done.” A Course in Miracles, (W-pI.69.8)

Our true will is the same as God’s Will. Holding a grievance against anything or any one in the world is a denial of our true will and therefore makes us unaware of God’s Will. This is why forgiveness is the key to our release from hell and our return to the perfect safety and peace of Heaven. Heaven is already ours. It is in us.

Today we hold Holy Spirit’s hand and let the Holy Spirit guide us past the self-made quagmire that hides the Light of our true Self from our awareness. As we walk with Holy Spirit, He will show us the complete lack of substance of all our grievances. As we accept His vision in place our ours, the Light of Love grows stronger in our awareness. With Holy Spirit’s help, we join our will with God’s.
