Learning to Let Love Flow Freely

…in the holy instant, free of the past, you see that love is in you, and you have no need to look without and snatch love guiltily from where you thought it was.

All your relationships are blessed in the holy instant, because the blessing is not limited. ²In the holy instant the Sonship gains as one, and united in your blessing it becomes one to you. ³The meaning of love is the meaning God gave to it. ⁴Give to [love] any meaning apart from His, and it is impossible to understand it. ⁵God loves every brother as He loves you; neither less nor more. ⁶He needs them all equally, and so do you. ⁷In time, you have been told to offer miracles as I direct, and let the Holy Spirit bring to you those who are seeking you. ⁸Yet in the holy instant you unite directly with God, and all your brothers join in Christ. ⁹Those who are joined in Christ are in no way separate. ¹⁰For Christ is the Self the Sonship shares, as God shares His Self with Christ.

The central teaching of the Course is that only Love is real. In the world, we dream of many types of love. We seek for it in many forms but these forms never satisfy. The forms are only empty substitutes for Love.

Because Love is one, there are no differences in It. Love has only one need: To extend Itself without limit. God is the Source of all Love. We are His extension of Love, remaining eternally one with our Creator, the Source of Love. Because Love always extends, to know the Love we are, we must extend Love. There is nothing else but Love to give or extend.

Today we let our mind rest in God’s Love. We accept the Holy Spirit’s guidance to offer Love to the world. The opportunity to give Love is everywhere. The Holy Spirit will guide us with forms to offer It in ways that can be accepted in the dream. With His help, we will be guided to let go of our barriers to Love. As we let them go, the Love flows freely, joining with the Love in everyone and everything.
