Learning to See as Love Sees

I see all things as I would have them be.

Perception follows judgment. ²Having judged, we therefore see what we would look upon. ³For sight can merely serve to offer us what we would have. ⁴It is impossible to overlook what we would see, and fail to see what we have chosen to behold. ⁵How surely, therefore, must the real world come to greet the holy sight of anyone who takes the Holy Spirit’s purpose as his goal for seeing. ⁶And he cannot fail to look upon what Christ would have him see, and share Christ’s Love for what he looks upon.

I have no purpose for today except to look upon a liberated world, set free from all the judgments I have made. ²Father, this is Your Will for me today, and therefore it must be my goal as well. A Course in Miracles, (W-312. See also ACIM Lesson 312 Insights.)

When we accept the Holy Spirit’s judgment in place of our own, we are accepting His purpose in place of the ego’s. The ego’s purpose is to divide. The Holy Spirit’s purpose is to unify in the oneness of God’s Love.

Today we ask the Holy Spirit to be our Guide to true judgment. With His help, we will dismiss the unreal. We will join in the reality of Love. We will want to see the Love that is our brother, and we will see It. We will remember that we are Love as we see the Love that is our brother. We are united in the one Self we share as God’s Son.
