Daily Inspiration for Living A Course in Miracles
Making Room for Truth in Our Minds
Truth will correct all errors in my mind. I am mistaken when I think I can be hurt in any way. I am God’s Son, whose Self rests safely in the Mind of God.
I will forgive all things today, that I may learn how to accept the truth in me, and come to recognize my sinlessness. (A Course in Miracles Workbook Lesson 119, W-pI.119.1:1-3;2:2. See also ACIM Lesson 119 Insights.)
If we see anyone as vulnerable to harm, we also see ourselves as vulnerable. It is impossible to perceive guilt or vulnerability in others without believing we are vulnerable and guilty. Likewise, as we are able to see innocence in others with the Holy Spirit’s help, we learn of our own innocence. That is why forgiveness is the key to our happiness and release from fear.
Forgiveness opens the way for truth to enter our minds. Our practice today is to make room for truth.
