Our Prayer of Awakening to Truth

Father, our eyes are opening at last. Your holy world awaits us, as our sight is finally restored and we can see. We thought we suffered. But we had forgot the Son whom You created. Now we see that darkness is our own imagining, and light is there for us to look upon. Christ’s vision changes darkness into light, for fear must disappear when love has come. Let me forgive Your holy world today, that I may look upon its holiness and understand it but reflects my own. (A Course in Miracles, W-pII.302.1. See also ACIM Lesson 302 Insights.)

We want to awaken to the truth. We want to be happy. We want to forgive all our false ideas that bring us pain, guilt and fear. To do this, we practice opening our minds to God’s healing Light.

Today we let Inspiration lead the way… In quietness we let It come… In peace and gentleness we extend It to the world… Today we realize we are so blessed… And we extend the blessing to everyone we meet or think of. All this comes our way as we awaken to the truth.
