A Prayer of Willingness

God’s will is the only will I want… I relax and open to His will… I am willing to receive inspiration from my true Self… I am willing to hand over the reins and follow… I do not look to things of the world for answers but, rather, open to the Light of Truth within… I open to the Light of the Christ Mind…

It shows me a world of peace and oneness. This world is beyond time and space where eternal peace abides. This world is all I want. This world is all I need.

Opening to Truth

The sight of Christ is all there is to see. The song of Christ is all there is to hear. The hand of Christ is all there is to hold. There is no journey but to walk with Him. (A Course in Miracles, T-24.V.7:7-10)

Today we accept the truth that we are one with God’s perfect Love. God’s perfect Love sees the perfect Love in everyone as our only reality. God’s perfect Love knows that we all are in Heaven now, and that illusions of separation have no meaning in truth.

Today we accept God’s perfect Love and extend God’s perfect Love. In this Love, all we see is the Christ in all our brothers. We see the perfect Love in all our brothers and happily join hands, remembering we are one.

Celebrating the Christ Within

Today is a day to celebrate with gratitude the Christ within, our true Self. The Christ, our Self, is Love and nothing else. Being Love, It gives only Love and sees only Love. It overlooks the mistaken belief in separation, seeing the Light of Love everywhere.

Christ’s vision sees the blessing offered us in everyone and everything, for only Love is there. Let us today honor the Love we are by joining with Christ’s vision and seeing the Love that is everywhere.

Accepting God’s Grace

When we bought into the idea that separation and death are real, God did not agree. So by His grace we live, though we think we can die. Through the Holy Spirit, the memory of Love remains in our mind to release us from the belief that separation is real. By this grace we are released.

Today we are willing to accept the release from the dream of death that the Holy Spirit offers us and accept God’s gift of Life. We move closer to this acceptance each time we accept the Holy Spirit’s interpretation of our perceptions in place of our own.

Accepting the Strength of the Christ Mind

In every difficulty, all distress, and each perplexity Christ calls to you and gently says, “My brother, choose again.” He would not leave one source of pain unhealed, nor any image left to veil the truth. He would remove all misery from you whom God created altar unto joy. He would not leave you comfortless, alone in dreams of hell, but would release your mind from everything that hides His face from you. His Holiness is yours because He is the only power that is real in you. His strength is yours because He is the Self that God created as His only Son. (A Course in Miracles, T-31.VIII.3:2-7)

The ego mind is always choosing to be a victim of something outside itself. Knowing this helps us recognize when this is going on in our minds. When we recognize the ego thoughts for what they are, we can choose once again.

The power of the Christ mind lifts us above these victim thoughts and restores us to the invulnerability of our true Self. Everything the ego says is a dream — a false idea that is not real. When we consciously choose the Christ Mind as our Guide, we are led to what is truly helpful. The Course tells us, “You always choose between your weakness and the strength of Christ in you. And what you choose is what you think is real.” (2:3-4)

Today we practice being mindful of whether we are choosing weakness or the strength of Christ in us. We practice inviting Christ’s strength to prevail. In gratitude we are willing to receive Christ’s gifts today.

Today We Choose to Walk with Holy Spirit

As we accept our innocence, we accept and experience the happiness that God wills for us. It is through forgiveness that we accept our innocence, whether it appears to be forgiving another or ourselves.

Today we will take steps toward greater happiness by bringing all our thoughts that are not loving to the Holy Spirit with willingness to receive His gentle correction. He will help us recognize the false ideas that interfere with true perception and let them go.

We choose to walk with Holy Spirit as our Guide in all our doing today. This is how we will learn to recognize innocence everywhere and make way for the perfect happiness that is our innate Nature.

Accepting Our One Self as What We Are

The power of decision is my own. This day I will accept myself as what my Father’s Will created me to be.

Then will we wait in silence, giving up all self-deceptions, as we humbly ask our Self that He reveal Himself to us.

God’s Voice will answer, for He speaks for you and for your Father. He will substitute the peace of God for all your frantic thoughts, the truth of God for self-deceptions, and God’s Son for your illusions of yourself. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.152.11:3-4;12:2-3)

To accept our Self as Love created us to be, we have to give up the belief that we are a separate identity and let go of all judgment. We can only judge if we believe that what we judge is separate from us. Judgment keeps the belief in separation in place.

This is why forgiveness is the key to release from the dream of separation and return to the experience of our true Self, at one with all and wholly Love. The forgiveness that frees us comes when we let the Holy Spirit show us the truth beyond the appearances of the world.

Today we practice being open to Holy Spirit’s reinterpretation of everything we perceive. This is how we loose the world from all we thought it was. This is how we accept our Self.
