Remembering I Am as God Created Me

Father, Your Son is perfect. When I think that I am hurt in any way, it is because I have forgotten who I am, and that I am as You created me. Your Thoughts can only bring me happiness. If ever I am sad or hurt or ill, I have forgotten what You think, and put my little meaningless ideas in place of where Your Thoughts belong, and where they are. I can be hurt by nothing but my thoughts. The Thoughts I think with You can only bless. The Thoughts I think with You alone are true. (A Course in Miracles Workbook Lesson 281, W-pII.281.1. We have only one real purpose here and that is to wake up from the dream of being separate from our Father Who is all Love. Because in truth we are the Love of our Father, dreaming that we are something else is the cause of all our pain and sorrow.

As we are willing to return to Love, all pain and sorrow fall away. We recognize that we have just been mistaken and have joined with thoughts that could never be true. Now we are willing to join with Thoughts that only bless. Now we are willing to let our belief in separation fall away so that what is true can return to our awareness.

Today we focus on “remembering I am as God created me.” We joyously remember this for ourselves and every brother today.
