Remembering Love Is Our Home

God is my refuge and security.

I will identify with what I think is refuge and security. ²I will behold myself where I perceive my strength, and think I live within the citadel where I am safe and cannot be attacked. ³Let me today seek not security in danger, nor attempt to find my peace in murderous attack. ⁴I live in God. ⁵In Him I find my refuge and my strength. ⁶In Him is my Identity. ⁷In Him is everlasting peace. ⁸And only there will I remember Who I really am.

Let me not seek for idols. ²I would come, my Father, home to You today. ³I choose to be as You created me, and find the Son whom You created as my Self. (A Course in Miracles, W-261. See also ACIM Lesson 261 Insights.)

Everyone has a place to go where they can find peace and a sense of safety that cannot be disturbed. This place is always with them, no matter what they do or where the body seems to be. This place is in our mind, the Mind we share with God. This is the Home of our true Self, the Son of God. This place is held safe for us within the Mind of God.

Today, and every day, we can reach this place by letting our mind be quiet and welcoming the peace of God. We have been given the Holy Spirit to help us remember this place is our true Home. As we welcome peace, the Holy Spirit’s vision shows us that all of Reality is Love.

Every brother is one with us in this Love. In the certainty of this oneness, there is no need to attack for defend — only to join in Love and extend It without limit, as It has been given us. We are grateful to remember Love is our Home.
