Be Happy

Holy Spirit to Mary:
Be happy today. Don’t take the world too seriously. Remember you are one Self, united with your Creator. Remember Where you came from and what is the truth about you now.

There is only one united Self. That is the truth. Allow the veil to be lifted so this memory can return. Let yourself be carried by the Light of Love today. Let the happiness be that is innately yours fill your experience with peace and Love.

Holy Spirit to Robert:
Quiet joy and deep peace are your natural state, for they are the conditions of Heaven. You believe you have wandered far astray and the memory of your Home seems to have faded away. Yet there is within your heart a Call that persists, no matter how far you believe you have wandered or what you believe you have done. This Call will never die, for it is the call of your Self. Its call is a song of joy, for It would remind you of Home.

You yearn to return to this place of quiet joy and deep peace. All your searching in the world is but an attempt to find the Home you believe you have lost. Search no more. Your Home is in you. Open your heart to the song of joy. Let it draw you to your Self. Let it guide you Home.

You need do no more than be willing to give up the false idea of what you are and make way for the full recognition of your Self That remains one with your Creator. Here you find a joyous welcome, for you return to your true Home.

Recognize Your Brother as Yourself

Holy Spirit to Mary:
Let your mind stay in a place of quiet today. Let in the thought that you are resting in God all through the day. Let the thought in that you are still as God created you flow through your mind all through the day. With these thoughts comes the awareness and feeling of peace. Let this awareness carry you through the day.

Holy Spirit to Robert:
Today you can take valuable steps toward the Atonement with this simple practice: Look past all form and images to the reality of Love that is everywhere. That means that anyone’s behavior or words are recognized as simply meaningless forms that are not the holy Son of God that stands before you. All forms in the world are simply effects of denial of God’s Creation, which is denial of your Self.

Align your mind with the Holy Spirit, Who looks on all the images of the world but does not believe them. Align with the Holy Spirit and see the Love that is the only reality. With this practice your joy will overflow in gratitude, for you will be recognizing your brothers as your Self.

Remembering and Accepting God’s Love

Mary:
Today is a day to practice accepting God’s Love and extending it to all. Receiving and extending are the same. What I receive I extend, and what I extend I receive. This is my purpose today.

Robert:
Today I would remember my Father’s Love. I remember His Love by seeing it in my brother. That Love is always present. I recognize It as I remember that the images my eyes show me are not my brother. No form can be true because Love is formless and limitless. Today I choose to join with Holy Spirit’s vision as I practice looking beyond form to the Love that is God’s extension. With this practice I move closer to remembering my Father’s Love.

A Day of Practice

Holy Spirit to Robert:
Let today be a day of practice seeing beyond the images of the world to the Love that is everywhere. As you remember that only Love is real, the images the body’s eyes show you will not disturb your peace. You will remember the innocence in all your brothers and yourself.

With this focus the body becomes an instrument of communication in a world that was made to interfere with communication. Your dedication to seeing the Love beyond the images opens the door for the Holy Spirit to give a new purpose for the body that reverses the wish to separate. In this way you will make this day a day of healing and awakening.

Holy Spirit to Mary:
Today remember to choose peace instead of conflict. Practice opening your mind to peace. Practice only this. Accepting peace opens the door to a peaceful perception of the world. Let peace guide your way today.

See Love Everywhere

Holy Spirit to Robert:
See the day ahead as filled with Love. See Love being given and received in every interaction. See that only Love is present in every situation. See that beyond the appearance of physical objects, Love is there.

Let this be your focus today. This practice is not making anything happen. It is simply acknowledging what is, for Love is ever present, unchanging and unchangeable. The appearance of anything else is simply a self-made image that is the denial of reality. This image has no effect accept to limit your recognition of what’s real.

By focusing on seeing the Love everywhere, you are choosing to focus on reality instead of self-deceiving illusions. Today choose to engage with the oneness of Love and to disengage from images of separation. By this you choose to engage with your Self.

Holy Spirit to Mary:
Today practice remembering the truth that you are in Heaven now. You are still as God created you now. This means that you are one with peace and one with joy. Allow the Light of truth to shine on every illusion today. Let the veil be lifted. When the veil is lifted, only Heaven is there. Only total union as God’s Love is there. Let yourself remember the truth today. Truth is freedom.

Stepping Back

Mary:
This morning as I go into the place of inner quiet, once again I am invited to let go and let God. This means to forgive the world of all I ever thought it was. This means to watch the ego chatter with the Holy Spirit and allow the Holy Spirit to show me its unsubstantial nature. This means allowing the Holy Spirit to show me the difference between the meaningless and the meaningful. This means stepping back and allowing the Holy Spirit to replace all unforgiving thoughts with the peace of God. This means to forget all I think I have learned from the past and allowing the Holy Spirit to lead in the present moment.

Right now this is very helpful to me because we are in the process of moving and my mind jumps around to a million things that need to be done. I can do this with the ego or I can do this with the Holy Spirit. I can tell which I am choosing by the level of peace I feel. Am I willing to remember where I truly reside? The Holy Spirit is always there as I am willing to accept His help.

This is my opportunity — to follow and remember that I know nothing on my own. I must be as a little child and hold my Father’s Hand, which leads me out of my belief in separate bodies and into the awareness that only Love is real. What an opportunity I have today to awaken from the dream of separation!

Robert:
The Course tells us to beware of the temptation to perceive ourselves as unfairly treated. It also makes it clear that there is no world “out there.” Everything I perceive is a projection from my own mind. If I perceive that I have been cheated, the first ego response is to assign guilt to the “cheater.” But being a good Course student, I remember that what I perceive is my projection. Immediately the ego shifts into plan B: Begin analyzing myself for what I may have done to bring this on so that it can properly assign blame to me. The ego doesn’t care whether the blame is directed toward someone else or toward myself so long as blame is deemed justified and guilt held firmly in place.

But there is a difference between responsibility and blame. Blame is always justification for guilt in the ego thought system. But since nothing has happened to change God’s Creation, there is no real justification for guilt. I do not need to understand the deeply hidden thoughts and beliefs that manifest as images of lack, loss, fear and attack. I do need to recognize the need to take every perception to the Holy Spirit and let Him pass judgment. His judgment is never between guilt and innocence; it’s always between real and unreal. What’s unreal is nothing. What’s real is innocent. It is Love. It is All That Is.

So the simple process of offering any perception that disturbs my peace to the Holy Spirit and asking His help to forgive my interpretation and to see as He sees frees me from the past. It frees me to experience the present as Love and nothing else.

See the World with Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit to Mary:
Forgiveness means letting go of what is not real. Forgiveness means letting your replacements for Love go. God is Love and Love creates like Itself.

As you go through your day, look at your replacements for Love with Me, and let me show you their unreality. Let Me show you what matters and what does not matter. Let Me bring you to the truth. That is the real purpose for today — to be awakened to the truth. In truth, you rest in God. In truth, you have never replaced God with images of separation. Relax and let Me return your mind to the truth.

Holy Spirit to Robert:
Walk with Me today. Check in with Me frequently. I will guide you in the way that not only serves the whole, but serves you. What truly serves you serves all because you are one with all. There is no division. The world appears to be filled with images. Let Me interpret those images for you and I will show you the Love that is everywhere.

While you believe you are in the world of images, Love must be expressed through symbolic images. On your own you do not know how to use images lovingly. In fact when you think you are on your own, you are using images lovelessly. Let Me guide you in all your doing and I will use all worldly forms as expressions of Love through you. This is how you will learn to recognize the Love you are. This is how you will learn to recognize the Love beyond all forms. Together we will have a happy day.
