The Decision to Serve Holy Spirit

The mind that serves the Holy Spirit is unlimited forever, in all ways, beyond the laws of time and space, unbound by any preconceptions, and with strength and power to do whatever it is asked. Attack thoughts cannot enter such a mind, because it has been given to the Source of love, and fear can never enter in a mind that has attached itself to love. It rests in God. And who can be afraid who lives in Innocence, and only loves?

And God Himself extends His Love and happiness each time you say:

I am not a body. I am free. I hear the Voice that God has given me, and it is only this my mind obeys. (A Course in Miracles Workbook Lesson 199, W-pI.199.2;8:6-9. See also ACIM Lesson 199 Insights.)

The choice to serve only the Holy Spirit is the greatest gift we can give ourselves and all the world. With this decision we rest in God’s perfect peace. We are certain of God’s Love and know It is our own. In this certainty, we are free from fear. We experience God’s joy, which is beyond comprehension in this world. We know God’s strength is our own and feel perfectly safe.

This choice is a gift beyond measure. The seeming values of the world fade into the nothingness from which they came as we hold our focus on serving the Holy Spirit’s purpose. Today we joyously dedicate to following Holy Spirit’s lead and serving His purpose.
