The Key to Freedom from Conflict

In quiet listen to your Self today, and let Him tell you God has never left His Son, and you have never left your Self.

Only be quiet. You will need no rule but this, to let your practicing today lift you above the thinking of the world, and free your vision from the body’s eyes. Only be still and listen. You will hear the Word in which the Will of God the Son joins in His Father’s Will, at one with it, with no illusions interposed between the wholly indivisible and true. As every hour passes by today, be still a moment and remind yourself you have a special purpose for this day; in quiet to receive the Word of God. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.125.8:4-9:5. Freedom from conflict comes as we let the Holy Spirit show us His vision of the world. His vision shows us the reality of our oneness in Love that the body’s eyes are incapable of seeing. As we accept our unity in Love, our brothers become our friends, reflecting back to us the Love we are.

The practice of going to the peace within frequently during the day helps us be receptive to the Holy Spirit’s vision. This practice will show us the truth of Love beyond the appearances of bodies. It will show us the calls for Love behind the appearances of conflict.

As we recognize calls for Love, it brings forth the natural response of Love. Each time we recognize and respond to calls for Love, we experience Love’s blessing. We teach ourselves that we are Love, along with all our brothers.
