The Mission to Be Truly Helpful

Let me recognize my problems have been solved.

²I seem to have problems only because I am misusing time. ³I believe that the problem comes first, and time must elapse before it can be worked out. ⁴I do not see the problem and the answer as simultaneous in their occurrence. ⁵That is because I do not yet realize that God has placed the answer together with the problem, so that they cannot be separated by time. ⁶The Holy Spirit will teach me this, if I will let Him. ⁷And I will understand it is impossible that I could have a problem which has not been solved already.

These forms of the idea will be useful for specific applications:

²I need not wait for this to be resolved.
³The answer to this problem is already given me, if I will accept it.
⁴Time cannot separate this problem from its solution. (A Course in Miracles, W-90.3–4. See also ACIM Lesson 90 Insights.)

In the dream of form, Love is expressed in forms of kindness and helpfulness. When we let our true Self, the Holy Spirit, guide us to be truly helpful, we are helping bring Love into a dream that denies Love.

The practice of asking, “How can I be truly helpful?” can help us be messengers of Love in the world. The Holy Spirit understands that we are dreaming. But He does not believe the dream is real. He is not limited by our self-imposed limitations.

To open our mind to His guidance, we need to connect with the center of peace within to let our mind be quiet and receptive. With this open mind, the Holy Spirit’s guidance is welcomed. He will guide us to bring the healing message of Love in forms that are helpful. This is our mission.
