The Whole Sonship Is Safe in God’s Arms

I need but look upon all things that seem to hurt me, and with perfect certainty assure myself, “God wills that I be saved from this,” and merely watch them disappear. I need but keep in mind my Father’s Will for me is only happiness, to find that only happiness has come to me. And I need but remember that God’s Love surrounds His Son and keeps his sinlessness forever perfect, to be sure that I am saved and safe forever in His Arms. I am the Son He loves. And I am saved because God in His mercy wills it so.

Father, Your Holiness is mine. Your Love created me, and made my sinlessness forever part of You. I have no guilt nor sin in me, for there is none in You. (A Course in Miracles, W-pII.235. See also ACIM Lesson 235 Insights.)

In the world it appears that we are constantly vulnerable to harm in some form. This appearance is just the out picturing of the inevitable fear that comes with belief that we have separated from our Creator, our Source of strength and peace and happiness. The belief in separation is the belief in a false image of ourselves that is weak, alone and incomplete. This false image must constantly be alert to protect itself. The sense of loneliness leads to a constant search for companionship and completion.

All this will disappear as we accept that we remain as Love created us. There is no loss in eternal Love. Having been created by Love, we have all Love, now and forever. We need not seek for Love, but only accept what Is. Forgiveness, letting go of the false idea of being separate, is how we remember that all Love is already ours. Through forgiveness, we see the Love and innocence in our brothers and recognize It in ourselves. We see the whole Sonship is safe in God’s loving arms.
