The Choice for Love

As I listen to God’s Voice, I am sustained by His Love. As I open my eyes, His Love lights up the world for me to see. As I forgive, His Love reminds me that His Son is sinless. And as I look upon the world with the vision He has given me, I remember that I am His Son. (A Course in Miracles, ACIM, W-pI.60.5:2-5)

Every moment is an opportunity to receive God’s Love. His Love never stops. We are eternally in the flow of Love, no matter what the appearances seem to be. In every moment we have the choice: Accept the Presence of Love or deny It.

The choice to believe that we are bodies, separate from each other, each in our own little world, private and alone, is the denial of Love’s Presence. The denial of Love is the choice for fear and guilt.

In this moment, now, we can choose to stop the denial and to welcome Love. This choice brings with it the experience of deep peace, a quiet that cannot be disturbed, a certainty that we are sustained by the Love of God and a joy of experiencing unity with every brother and with our Source. Today we practice making this choice for Love.
