We Are Free to Return to Love

This world will change through you. No other means can save it, for God’s plan is simply this: The Son of God is free to save himself, given the Word of God to be his Guide, forever in his mind and at his side to lead him surely to his Father’s house by his own will, forever free as God’s. He is not led by force, but only love. He is not judged, but only sanctified. (A Course in Miracles Workbook Lesson 125, W-pI.125.2. See also ACIM Lesson 125 Insights.)

God is only Love and Love does not condemn. Thus there is no reason to fear God because all He ever gives is Love, and He gives It without limit or judgment. As part of His gift of Love, He has given us a Guide, an Inner Teacher in our minds to teach us how to release ourselves from the mistaken belief that we are separate from God. We have already been given the means to forgive the past and welcome the Love that is ever present in the eternal now.

As we are willing to accept His help, our inner Teacher will help us see that our brother is also only Love, created the same as us and one with us. As we see this, we learn that we are also only Love and, together with our brother, one with our Creator and our Source. Today we are willing to be taught how to free ourselves from fear and guilt and return to Love.
