We Remain Safe in Love

…try to reach down into your mind to a place of real safety. You will recognize that you have reached it if you feel a sense of deep peace, however briefly. Let go all the trivial things that churn and bubble on the surface of your mind, and reach down and below them to the Kingdom of Heaven. There is a place in you where there is perfect peace. There is a place in you where nothing is impossible. There is a place in you where the strength of God abides.

Remember that peace is your right, because you are giving your trust to the strength of God. (A Course in Miracles Workbook Lesson 47, W-pI.47.7:1-5;8:3. See also ACIM Lesson 47 Insights.)

Because God is in our mind, peace is in our mind. All that stands between the experience of God’s peace and our awareness of it is false images, projected by the ego false mind of separation. These images are held in place by our belief and nothing more.

The moment we stop believing separation could be real, the full experience of God’s peace will flood our minds and hearts. This is why forgiveness, letting go of belief in separation, is the key to happiness, the key to perfect peace.

Today we continue the practice of bringing all our thoughts and beliefs to the Holy Spirit with willingness to let Him wash them clean of the false and show us the reality that no matter what appearances may be, we remain perfectly safe in God’s changeless Love.
