Welcoming Peace in Our Minds

When you are still an instant, when the world recedes from you, when valueless ideas cease to have value in your restless mind, then will you hear His [Christ’s] Voice. So poignantly He calls to you that you will not resist Him longer. In that instant He will take you to His home, and you will stay with Him in perfect stillness, silent and at peace, beyond all words, untouched by fear and doubt, sublimely certain that you are at home.

It is time to stop the frustrating searching for peace of mind where it cannot be found. It is time to stop paying attention to the ego’s directions, which always lead away from peace, for the ego is afraid of peace.

It is time to train our minds to frequently pause to welcome the peace that already lies within us. As we let ourselves experience peace from within, we open the channels of communication to hear Christ’s Voice speak to us of the Love we and all our brothers are. Christ’s Voice will always bring us messages of Love and show us the Truth in our brothers. The practice of pausing and welcoming peace into our minds will redirect our attention to the path that leads us Home where we belong.

We need only practice being still an instant and welcoming peace to be led to the safety and stillness of our Home.
