Allow, Allow, Allow

How could I let go, how could I allow? It is not safe, I need to fight now… to maintain my way, follow my plan… Surely this must be the best way to go ahead.

Jesus says, “Follow me.” I think I am doing that. But why is there fear in my heart? What do I need to allow, what is it You want?

I am open to hearing; I’ve asked many times. I don’t feel any change, I may not fully trust Your loving Guidance and Your sure touch.

I know you are right there by my side. I’m Reaching for your Hand. My heart feels Your Love; I’m calmer and more certain that Trust is warranted and there is really nothing to fear.

I let go of what was my worry, my fear, my doubt and allow myself to be still, allow You to protect me. To let go is not easy and yet it is simple, allowing myself to be carried and guided.

I don’t know it all; I have to admit this and see my silly ways as childish imagination that became my belief and my ways.

I want to change my mind so I can see this differently. I know Help is already given, it’s all exactly right for me. and so I can allow; I can let my ways be wrong.

I open my heart, my mind and my hands to receive and rejoice that fear is not helpful, not needed, not good.

I was wrong. I will step back. I allow and notice a peace flow into my being. Now all there is left is Gratitude.
