My Healing Experiences with The Book ON… And Jesus Answers

One morning as I sat reading from The Book ON, I felt so comforted by Jesus. The chapter I had just read was one where Jesus was asking us again to please not put him apart from us. He asked us to see him as one with ourselves. He said, “ I am your sister/brother, and am part of you.” It reminded me of a place in A Course in Miracles where Jesus says, “If you only knew Who walked beside you, fear would be impossible.”

As I sat and closed my eyes, just thinking of what I had just read, the most amazing scene came to my mind.

I saw a white pedestal about three or four feet tall with Roman type scrolls on the top of it. It was like some of the plant stands you see at the nurseries, except this one had a wider base and the top of it was a little wider. And there was Jesus standing on top of that pedestal!

He said, “Sharyn, please knock me down from this pedestal!” I thought to myself, “Oh my, I could never knock down Jesus.” Then He said, “I know dear, but please just come and give me your hand and help me off this pedestal that you have had me on for so many years!”
 
So I walked over and took his hand and helped him step down off the pedestal. He said to me, “ You know as long as you have had me on that pedestal, you could never realize your oneness with me! You saw me over there and higher than you. And when you see me like that, it is impossible to see me as an equal with yourself.”
 
Then I really did realize that he was right! I remembered when I was a little girl I used to sing, “Jesus Loves Me” and “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” all the time. I really did think he was so much better than and higher than me.

Wow, what insight was just revealed to me in this little rest after reading that chapter! To continue with the vision, Jesus stood in front of me and wrapped his arms around me. I felt so warm and so comforted. He said to me, “Now feel my Light blend with your Light and feel us become One.”

As I stood there I really felt a blending and I felt his presence in me. Since that happened, I feel his love and joy within me everyday. I know he walks with me wherever I go. I know I can never be alone. I truly feel one with him and I know that I have a best friend that lives within me and will help me make any decisions if I just ask him. I now feel like he fills every cell of my being. What a great feeling!

That story is just one of the insights that has come to me from reading The Book ON. This book has truly been a companion of mine and I take it wherever I go.

I sometimes randomly just pick it up and ask to turn to the page that is meant for me at that moment. I always receive my answer and it always turns out to be the perfect page! I will be talking to someone or somebody will call me for counseling and I automatically think of a chapter in that book that would help them.

Thank you Jesus for coming through Joel Wright and thank you John Hutkin for seeing that need to follow through by working with Joel and for having this book published. The world is truly blessed with this new inspiring book!

Don’t miss this two-day experiential workshop where Sharyn and Larry will guide you with Holy Spirit’s lead to find answers to a multitude of questions on any topic or concern.

In this workshop you will experience a closer, personal relationship with Jesus. Through a combination of discussions, reflection, journaling, sharing and experiential exercises you will learn the answers to many of your dilemmas or situations where you “seem” to be stuck.

Larry & Sharyn will lead an exploration ON.. and Jesus will answer.

Open times between sessions allow for walks in the woods, swimming,
canoeing and quiet contemplation.

Schedule: This two-day workshop begins Saturday, June 13th at 9 a.m. and concludes Sunday, June 14 at 4 p.m.

Two-Day Workshop Fee: $135 per person if registered before May 15th. After May 15th it is $175. Registration must be paid in full and no refunds after May 30th.

See the Light That You Are

Recently, my mind has been clouded with thoughts about the Lupus I seemed to have asked for in my dream. This morning I had softened to allow in the following message from Spirit: I see the Light that you are — you are so loved.

By listening to the ego voice, you think that it is true. You feel threatened, alone, defeated by the dis-ease. The ego “asked” for this, and you choose forgetfulness to look outside the mind for cause. Yet cause is in your mind only. The ego part of mind tries to attack the real mind, which is impossible to do. Then you experience conflict. Conflict or dis-ease appears in the body.

This dis-ease is another chance to surrender the isolation plan, the separation dream. This is another opportunity to lay aside what you think you know and be willing to step into the un-knowing. It only seems unknown to the false mind because that part has denied Love and Love’s purpose. To the real mind the unknown is Home, complete, whole, pure and infinite. To the false mind, fear is it’s ally, a companion on the way to “hell.” To the real mind, fear is not heard, nor seen; not felt or used.

The dis-ease seems to hold the separation plan in place. It seems to make the whole idea of separateness real. It seems to make the body real, so that you forget that the real Self is Spirit. The real mind is Spirit, which is unseen with physical eyes.

This dis-ease is another way to let go of the plan that never works, the plan made only to fail. A false plan is really no plan. A false plan conflicts with your will — which is the Will of One. The false mind is highly threatened when you decide to choose differently. It will use any and everything to dissuade you from dropping its plan. It will make up more conflict, distractions, desires to fill your mind. It will do everything to keep old habits and rituals intact. It thinks that it knows what is “best,” but all it does is seek for its survival and not real life. It seems that to change you must be very strong, yet it takes only your true desire and a little willingness to manifest change of mind.

When you have willingness (being open to another answer or another way to think or see) then are you freed from the chains of conflict, confusion, doubt and fear. In willingness you are freed from thoughts of differences and loss. In willingness you are given all that you are open to receive. In willingness you accept each step as it comes, taking you toward the true goal of Love.

With willingness you lay down the plan of separation, you see that that plan is meaningless. With willingness the idea of dis-ease is given to Holy Spirit to use in Love’s plan. His purpose and knowing make your little willingness a passage into peace and love that enfolds all.

With willingness you give Holy Spirit the “chance,” which is the only sure thing, to interpret your experience for you. With willingness you return to your true nature and natural response to any call for love. Your little willingness can indeed move mountains! Your little willingness enfolds the world in Love until the dream of separation and guilt is undone.

No “Stranger” Among Us

I was led by Spirit to be a vendor at the Spirit-Mind-Body fair in Topeka, Kansas. My good friend, Linda and her dear husband, Don and I set up a very nice booth offering massage, Young Living essential oil, Reiki, ACIM, and Pathways of Light information.

Never doing anything like this, I kept my expectations very low. The fair is a biannual event and has been going on for several years. It is well organized and the staff is very friendly. All the vendors started both days in circle with a group meditation. This really set the tone. I immediately felt like I was among good friends. In fact, I did reconnect with some old friends.

As the fair goers started coming by, it did not take me too long to figure my main reason for being there. When I looked into the eyes of those before me, I recognized myself, not too long ago, searching for meaning, on a quest. With each interaction, Holy Spirit seemed to slow time, turn down the noisy atmosphere and allow that which would be most helpful to come through. This experience was enriching and humbling. By the end of the first day, I was so energized!

Even though the second day was a bit more challenging, Holy Spirit was with us. The venture was a complete success on all levels. It was wonderful that through massage, I was able to cover my expenses, I handed out all the Pathways of Light and Miracles News magaziane, sold a few oils, and made some new friends. More valuable than all of this, I was reminded that there is no such person called “stranger.” We are One.

Holy Spirit, Your inspiration and guidance are welcomed gifts.
Help me to always keep my eyes,
my ears and my heart open
To the lovely sound of Your Voice. Amen.
