Sign Posts

The wonders I behold
in this physical universe
are but sign posts.

They lead me
to the true wonders
that lie within.

Love of another
is but a shame
if it does not reflect
the unconditional
and wholly uniting Love
that is God.

A rose holds no beauty
if there is no love
in the Heart
of the perceiver.

The inner voice
which speaks against
our true Divinity
would have us believe
that the wonders
of this world are real.

It seeks to separate
the beautiful from the ugly,
the deserving from the undeserving.

In this way we judge
ourselves and others.

In this way we stay bound
to our external experience
and are denied
the wonders that lie
within each of us.

When next you perceive
beauty or wonder,
know that it is yourself
calling to yourself
and reminding you
that all is one.
All is Love.

Go inward.
Join with the rose,
the starry night sky,
the humming bird
and find
your true Divinity.
