We Are Safe in God Forever

You are as God created you. Today honor your Self. Let graven images you made to be the Son of God instead of what he is be worshipped not today. Deep in your mind the holy Christ in you is waiting your acknowledgment as you. And you are lost and do not know yourself while He is unacknowledged and unknown.

Seek [the Holy Christ in you] today, and find Him. He will be your Savior from all idols you have made. For when you find Him, you will understand how worthless are your idols, and how false the images which you believed were you. Today we make a great advance to truth by letting idols go, and opening our hands and hearts and minds to God today. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.110.9-10. See also ACIM Lesson 110 Insights.)

Today we let ourselves remember that we are God’s perfect Love as He created us to be… Today let us remember that dreams of separation and differences mean nothing… Nothing has happened to change God’s one Son…

We are all safe in God forever… We are eternal Love forever… Today we practice letting go of the imprisoning chains of the ego thought system… Today we leave the ego’s thoughts behind with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit… Today we let God’s peace fill our minds… We follow as peace leads… We know we are safe in the Light of God forever.

We Rest in God Today

We ask for rest today, and quietness unshaken by the world’s appearances. We ask for peace and stillness, in the midst of all the turmoil born of clashing dreams. We ask for safety and for happiness, although we seem to look on danger and on sorrow. And we have the thought that will answer our asking with what we request.

‘I rest in God.’ This thought will bring to you the rest and quiet, peace and stillness, and the safety and the happiness you seek. ‘I rest in God.’ This thought has power to wake the sleeping truth in you, whose vision sees beyond appearances to that same truth in everyone and everything there is. Every disturbance to our peace, every fear or thought of guilt, is healed as we accept the fact that we rest in God, in Love. Any disturbance to our peace thus becomes a signal to remind ourselves that we rest right now in the quiet certainty of changeless Love. There is no other place to be. There is no other state or condition that could be real. We rest in changeless Love, our refuge and our Home.

Today we will remind ourselves often that we rest in Love, we rest in God. As we accept this, we join with our brothers in this rest. The world of seeming conflict becomes more peaceful, leading to its full transformation into the real world, where only Love is recognized as true.

Remembering Our Home in God

Light and joy and peace abide in me.

I am the home of light and joy and peace. I welcome them into the home I share with God, because I am a part of Him. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.112.1. See also ACIM Lesson 112 Insights.)

When we look at the world through the body’s eyes, it appears that it is anything but light and joy and peace. That is because the world is the denial of our true Nature.

Today we practice accepting the light and joy and peace that are our true Nature… We let it flow through our being and extend it to everyone we meet or even think of today… Thus we will remember the Home we share with God…

A Prayer to Awaken

Holy Spirit, help me use this day to remember that I am as God created me… Help me see past the appearances I see through the body’s eyes today to the eternal Love that is ever present… Help me recognize calls for Love and respond not with defensiveness, but with Love. Help me let go of judgment that I may release the guilt that comes from belief in what could never be true.

With Your help, today will be a day of awakening to the certainty of Love, the stillness of peace and the joy that comes with recognizing and joining with the Love in all my brothers… And I give thanks.

The Outcome of Forgiveness

The outcome of the lesson that God’s Son is guiltless is a world in which there is no fear, and everything is lit with hope and sparkles with a gentle friendliness. Nothing but calls to you in soft appeal to be your friend, and let it join with you. And never does a call remain unheard, misunderstood, nor left unanswered in the selfsame tongue in which the call was made. And you will understand it was this call [for Love] that everyone and everything within the world has always made, but you had not perceived it as it was. And now you see you were mistaken. You had been deceived by forms the call was hidden in. And so you did not hear it, and had lost a friend who always wanted to be part of you. The soft eternal calling of each part of God’s creation to the whole is heard throughout the world this [lesson of forgiveness] brings. (A Course in Miracles, T-31.I.8. See also ACIM Text Q & A.)

As we continue to practice seeing past appearances to the Love that is really there, we are able to see all forms of lack of Love as merely a call for Love. We are all calling for Love. We are all calling to return to the truth of Love’s oneness. Our Father answers through the Holy Spirit in our minds.

As we receive the miracle of forgiveness through the Holy Spirit, we are able to see beyond appearances to the call for Love. We are able to extend Love in all circumstances instead of falling back into making appearances seem real. As we give Love instead of judgment with the Holy Spirit’s help, we experience Love. This is the outcome forgiveness brings.

In Gratitude I Heal

I let gratitude lead me Home…

I now appreciate, accept and give thanks
for all that I have inherited as a Child of God.

In gratitude I follow the kind and gentle
guidance of my inner Teacher…

In gratitude I now extend Love and appreciation to all equally…

In gratitude I accept the Truth that All is One in the Mind of God…

I gratefully see and celebrate the wholeness,
innocence and perfection of my brother…
We are joined with our Father in Heaven.

In gratitude I heal.

Our Will Is One with God’s Will

Father, I thought I wandered from Your Will, defied it, broke its laws, and interposed a second will more powerful than Yours. Yet what I am in truth is but Your Will, extended and extending. This am I, and this will never change. As You are One, so am I one with You. And this I chose in my creation, where my will became forever one with Yours. That choice was made for all eternity. It cannot change, and be in opposition to itself. Father, my will is Yours. And I am safe, untroubled and serene, in endless joy, because it is Your Will that it be so.

Today we will accept our union with each other and our Source. We have no will apart from His, and all of us are one because His Will is shared by all of us. Through it we recognize that we are one. Through it we find our way at last to God. (A Course in Miracles, W-pII.329. See also ACIM Lesson 329 Insights.)

Peace and conflict are opposites. In the oneness of Love, there can be nothing that conflicts with Love. Because only Love is real, the appearance of conflict must be illusion.

The world of form we experience seems to be filled with conflict. Therefore it must be unreal. It is a denial of our reality as extensions of Love. The Course reminds us that our true Self is Love and thus our true Will is to extend Love. As we accept our true Will, we accept the Love that seems to be hidden from us in the world of form.

Freedom from fear and guilt comes by accepting the Will of Love as our own. Judgments interfere with the Will of Love. Forgiveness releases the Will of Love. As we forgive, we welcome Love and the peace and joy it brings and automatically offer It freely to all that is. Accepting that our will is one with God’s Will is accepting God’s gifts of peace and joy and Love
