What Is It For?

Today I remember to ask of everything, “What is this for?” I let go of deciding for myself what anything means.

As I let the Holy Spirit decide on my behalf, everything becomes a means for awakening to the Truth. Everything becomes a means for extending Love.

This is my happiness. This is my joy. And I am grateful to have this opportunity today.

In Quietness Is Every Problem Quietly Resolved

Today we give welcome to our inner quiet mind… We welcome the peace that is our natural inheritance… We give welcome to the Love that is our one true Identity…

We value the truth that resides in our quiet mind and give time to quiet listening… We gladly receive the inspiration that is always there for us… We gladly hand over all fearful or judgmental thoughts to Love’s welcoming Arms… Love knows what to do with these thoughts. In Love’s gentle Light, they simply disappear…

Love lifts us up above the battleground, where we see everything differently… We are filled with the healing blessing of Love’s calm radiant Light… We remember there is nothing to fear… We remember we are eternally safe with every brother as God’s one eternal Son…

In gratitude and quietness is every problem quietly resolved.

Give Peace a Chance

Whenever we are not feeling wholly joyous, it is time to give peace a chance. A judgment has entered our mind that hides the truth of Love from our awareness.

To give peace a chance to return, we must bring this judgment to the Holy Spirit with willingness to receive His kind and gentle correction. The Holy Spirit will shine the Light of truth on the false idea that seemed to justify judgment and show us that its foundation is nothing and nowhere. As the foundation of judgment is withdrawn, judgment disappears with it. Love returns to our awareness and we return to our natural state in peace.

Today we will practice bringing every disturbing thought to the Holy Spirit to let His Light transform it. Thus will we give peace a chance

Today We Lighten Up

Today is the day to celebrate the truth about ourselves and give as we receive… As we receive God’s gifts, we gladly share them with all… Today we extend our Love… our peace… our gentleness… We freely receive the truth and give the truth… as we go through every part of our day.

We let ourselves remember that we rest in God… along with every brother… We use this day for our practice of receiving and giving the truth… What can be more important than this? Today we lighten up.

Accepting the Gift of Perfect Happiness

It’s time to give up our attachment to a separate identity. Belief in separation is the denial of God’s Love. The effect of this denial is loneliness, guilt and depression.

God’s will for us is perfect happiness. If we are not experiencing it, then we are simply refusing God’s gift. The gift has been given. His Love is already ours. Refusal to accept God’s Love simply makes us unaware of it.

In any moment we can let go of our investment in separation and accept the joy that comes with God’s gift of perfect happiness and Love. Why not today? All that blocks this experience from our awareness is simply a mistaken belief that can be undone.

Today we ask the Holy Spirit to guide our thoughts and help us let go of the self-imposed limitation of separation thinking. As we accept His Help, we will learn to recognize the thoughts that deny God’s gift and let them go. Each mistaken thought released brings us closer to the full experience of perfect happiness. We are willing to practice today.

Let Yourself Be Carried Today

Let yourself be carried by focusing on stepping back and listening to your inner Teacher. As your constant receptivity strengthens, you see that the Holy Spirit is always with you, helping you rise above to see the Love. Your trust in Holy Spirit’s guidance grows day by day. You know that the perfect circumstances always present themselves for your perfect continued growth. You feel Holy Spirit’s gentleness and kindness as you are guided ever so carefully through the maze of illusion. You are guided to see everything differently. You are guided to see past the forms of differences to the one Love that is behind all illusions.

As you continue your practice, your confidence in following your inner Guide is strong. You feel safe and secure that everyone who comes into your life is now a means to further your awakening to the Truth. You feel calm and certain that you have everything you need as you continue letting the Holy Spirit lead you Home. You relax into letting yourself be carried.

Remembering Our Home in Heaven

Minds that are joined and recognize they are, can feel no guilt. For they cannot attack, and they rejoice that this is so, seeing their safety in this happy fact. Their joy is in the innocence they see. And thus they seek for it, because it is their purpose to behold it and rejoice.

Those who offer peace to everyone have found a home in Heaven the world cannot destroy. (A Course in Miracles, T-25.IV.1:1-4;4:9)

Joy comes with seeing innocence. When judgment is set aside, the Light of Love that is the truth behind all appearances shines through. This Light of Love is in us, hidden only by judgment. As we let go of judgment, as we forgive, the real world rises to our awareness. We recognize our brothers are one with us.

In gratitude we welcome them. And if a brother appears to be in fear or guilt, we respond with Love and gentleness. It is another opportunity to extend Love and experience It’s blessing. Thus we offer peace to the world and remember our Home in Heaven.
