What Is Our Purpose?

Our purpose is to wake up from the dream of separation. Our true purpose is to remember our true Identity as one with all Love. Our purpose is to let our minds be changed by the Holy Spirit so that all our barriers to Love are removed.

Today we look at all the circumstances of our lives as opportunities to join with the Holy Spirit’s way of seeing the world. Today we open to Holy Spirit’s vision. With Holy Spirit as our Guide, we are able to see past all the stories of separation and differences to the one Truth that lies within us all. Beyond the stories is pure Love and nothing else. Beyond the stories is pure peace and happiness.

Today we are given another opportunity to let our barriers to the awareness of Love’s presence be removed by the Holy Spirit. Today we open our minds to the Light that the Holy Spirit provides as we give It welcome. Today we welcome mind healing and let every thought be brought to Truth with Holy Spirit’s help.

As we open to Truth, we live in peace, not fear. As we open to Truth, we forgive the world for all we ever thought it was. As we open to Truth, we are brought to the true beingness of Love. And this Love we extend to everyone equally. We are filled with gratitude for this wonderful opportunity each and every day.

Our Prayer of Forgiveness

Holy Spirit, help us be a blessing to all… Help us see the Love You see in all our brothers… Help us see past the false images of the world to the innocence of Christ in everyone…

We bring You our thoughts and beliefs from the past with willingness to receive Your kind and gentle correction… Thus will we recognize the blessings that every brother offers as part of our one Self.

We bless our brothers as we see them truly and receive their blessing in return. And our hearts are filled with gratitude.

God Is. Love Is. There Is Nothing Else.

Believing there is something other than our Source is literally a fearful thought. We can believe in the fearful thought, or we can remember to laugh at such a crazy thought and let it go. Every hour of every day we are either joining with the illusion or we are stepping back and remembering to choose once again, this time with the Holy Spirit.

Today we let our practice be that we consistently step back and choose with Holy Spirit. With Holy Spirit we see that only the Love is real. With Holy Spirit we forgive our illusions and the illusions we see in the world. We let go and let God. We return to the truth: God is. Love is. There is nothing else.

We Open Our Minds to Holy Spirit’s Healing Light

What we are seeing through the body’s eyes are illusions. We do not know what anything means on our own. Holy Spirit, we open our minds to Your healing Light.

We are committed today to stepping back and opening our minds to welcome Your healing inspiration. You bring us awareness of the real world. You help us see past illusions to the truth. We listen to You, Holy Spirit. We follow Your lead and we give thanks for all Your gifts.

We Will Make No Plans on Our Own

Making plans on our own is a setup for disappointment, disillusionment, dissatisfaction and depression. When we make plans on our own, we have chosen the ego as our guide. The ego’s primary mode is to seek and not find. Thus the ego’s plans always go nowhere and bring us nothing.

Thankfully there is another way that will lead us to perfect fulfillment, perfect happiness, perfect joy. When we step back from making plans on our own and are willing to open to Holy Spirit’s inspiration in every moment, we will be led gently and lovingly to the realization that we are God’s Love, the extension of Love. We will be led to extend that Love and experience the blessing that Love brings with It.

Our practice today is to, moment by moment, hold our minds open in peace to the Holy Spirit’s inspiration. With this practice, all our doing will reflect the Love we are. It will be truly helpful and we will experience the fulfillment that comes with true helpfulness. With this practice, this will be a day of blessing and joy.

We Claim the Peace We Are

Father, I seek the peace You gave as mine in my creation. What was given then must be here now, for my creation was apart from time, and still remains beyond all change. The peace in which Your Son was born into Your Mind is shining there unchanged. I am as You created me. I need but call on You to find the peace You gave. It is Your Will that gave it to Your Son. (A Course in Miracles, W-pII.230.2)

Today our practice is to experience the peace we are. When recognize that our peace has been disturbed, we pause, step back and return to peace.

We Watch Our Thoughts Today

Today we practice being mindful of our thoughts. Are we joining with the ego or the Holy Spirit? We ask Holy Spirit to be in charge of our thoughts today… We open to His peace because we want to wake up to Reality… We open to His Love because we want to receive and extend the Love of our true, eternal nature…

As we watch our thoughts, we hand over all thoughts that do not come from peace and Love to the Holy Spirit… He knows what to do with them, we do not. We invite the Holy Spirit to be in charge of our mind all through the day… We maintain a constant vigilance because we want to wake up from the dream of separation. We want to return to our Source. We want to remember that we are still as God created us.

We watch our thoughts today with Holy Spirit.
