Turning Our Judgments over to God’s Love

I judge all things as I would have them be.

Judgment was made to be a weapon used against the truth. ²It separates what it is being used against, and sets it off as if it were a thing apart. ³And then it makes of it what you would have it be. ⁴It judges what it cannot understand, because it cannot see totality and therefore judges falsely. ⁵Let us not use it today, but make a gift of it to Him Who has a different use for it. ⁶He will relieve us of the agony of all the judgments we have made against ourselves, and re-establish peace of mind by giving us God’s Judgment of His Son.

Father, we wait with open mind today, to hear Your Judgment of the Son You love. ²We do not know him, and we cannot judge. ³And so we let Your Love decide what he whom You created as Your Son must be. (A Course in Miracles, W-311. See also ACIM Lesson 311 Insights.)

We have a path laid out for us to see a world where Love presides. We lay aside our habit of judging all things, trying to decide what is good and what is bad. No longer do we try to judge. We are free from past illusions.

We admit that we do not know what anything means. Now we wait with willingness to see with the eyes of Love. This vision shows us that we are united with every brother in the universe of Love. He is not different. We see he is the same Love that we are.

In this vision, we rest In peace and joy.

Remembering the Oneness of Love.

²You have need to use the symbols of the world a while. ³But be you not deceived by them as well. ⁴They do not stand for anything at all, and in your practicing it is this thought that will release you from them. ⁵They become but means by which you can communicate in ways the world can understand, but which you recognize is not the unity where true communication can be found.

Thus what you need are intervals each day in which the learning of the world becomes a transitory phase; a prison house from which you go into the sunlight and forget the darkness. ²Here you understand the Word, the Name which God has given you; the one Identity which all things share; the one acknowledgment of what is true. ³And then step back to darkness, not because you think it real, but only to proclaim its unreality in terms which still have meaning in the world that darkness rules.”

God has no name. ²And yet His Name becomes the final lesson that all things are one, and at this lesson does all learning end. ³All names are unified; all space is filled with truth’s reflection. ⁴Every gap is closed, and separation healed. ⁵The Name of God is the inheritance He gave to those who chose the teaching of the world to take the place of Heaven. ⁶In our practicing, our purpose is to let our minds accept what God has given as the answer to the pitiful inheritance you made as fitting tribute to the Son He loves. Our inheritance is God’s Identity as Love. He created is Son as an extension of His Love, eternally one with Himself. To hold this Identity in our mind, we need to take intervals each day to step back from the world. We pause to remember the oneness of Love. From this oneness we see that we are one with every brother. The forms fade into the background as Love steps forward.

We hold this awareness of the Light in every brother in our mind as we bring the message of God’s Love to the world.

Awakening to the Certainty of Love

If I accept that I am prisoner within a body, in a world in which all things that seem to live appear to die, then is my Father prisoner with me. ²And this do I believe, when I maintain the laws the world obeys must I obey; the frailties and the sins which I perceive are real, and cannot be escaped. ³If I am bound in any way, I do not know my Father nor my Self. ⁴And I am lost to all reality. ⁵For truth is free, and what is bound is not a part of truth.

Father, I ask for nothing but the truth. ²I have had many foolish thoughts about myself and my creation, and have brought a dream of fear into my mind. ³Today, I would not dream. ⁴I choose the way to You instead of madness and instead of fear. ⁵For truth is safe, and only love is sure. Our true Self is Love, the same Love that God is. When we experience fear or guilt, it is only because we are believing the dream we are experiencing is real. In truth, Love has no opposite. It cannot harm or be harmed. This is our safety, our joy and peace.

We can awaken to the certainty of Love with the practice of asking the Holy Spirit to interpret all things we see and feel. As we let Him be the judge, we learn of our safety in the changeless Love of God. We practice following Him today.

Knowing the Peace of God

To mean you want the peace of God is to renounce all dreams. ²For no one means these words who wants illusions, and who therefore seeks the means which bring illusions. ³He has looked on them, and found them wanting. ⁴Now he seeks to go beyond them, recognizing that another dream would offer nothing more than all the others. ⁵Dreams are one to him. ⁶And he has learned their only difference is one of form, for one will bring the same despair and misery as do the rest.

This is the choice you make. ²Be not deceived that it is otherwise. ³No compromise is possible in this. ⁴You choose God’s peace, or you have asked for dreams. ⁵And dreams will come as you requested them. ⁶Yet will God’s peace come just as certainly, and to remain with you forever.

For you was peace created, given you by its Creator, and established as His Own eternal gift. ²How can you fail, when you but ask for what He wills for you? ³And how could your request be limited to you alone? ⁴No gift of God can be unshared. ⁵It is this attribute that sets the gifts of God apart from every dream that ever seemed to take the place of truth.

We cannot see anything or anyone as separate from us and know the peace of God. As we go through today, we ask the Holy Spirit to help us see past the forms in the dream to the unity of Love. Where Love is recognized, there can be no judgment. The Love that created us and that we are sees Itself everywhere. Nothing else exists.

As we accept Love’s vision as our own, we will have a happy and peaceful day. We will share that peace with everyone we see or even think about. We will know we have the peace of God.

Bringing God’s Love to the World

⁴Like earthly messengers, they did not write the messages they bear, but they become their first receivers in the truest sense, receiving to prepare themselves to give.

Would you receive the messages of God? ²For thus do you become His messenger. ³You are appointed now. ⁴And yet you wait to give the messages you have received. ⁵And so you do not know that they are yours, and do not recognize them. ⁶No one can receive and understand he has received until he gives. ⁷For in the giving is his own acceptance of what he received.

²He needs our voice that He may speak through us. ³He needs our hands to hold His messages, and carry them to those whom He appoints. ⁴He needs our feet to bring us where He wills, that those who wait in misery may be at last delivered. ⁵And He needs our will united with His Own, that we may be the true receivers of the gifts He gives.

²I am among the ministers of God, and I am
grateful that I have the means by which to
recognize that I am free.

The world recedes as we light up our minds, and realize these holy words are true. ²They are the message sent to us today from our Creator. ³Now we demonstrate how they have changed our minds about ourselves, and what our function is. ⁴For as we prove that we accept no will we do not share, our many gifts from our Creator will spring to our sight and leap into our hands, and we will recognize what we received. We have the privilege of being a messenger of God. His messages bring us blessing. They tell us of His Love. His messages are intended first for us. They become ours to give when we accept them for ourselves.

The core of every message from God is His Love for us, His Son. As we accept His Love, we naturally share It with the world. That is what Love does.

Today we would be God’s messenger, for we would bring His Love to the world.

We Let Love Lead the Way

I follow in the way appointed me.

I have a special place to fill; a role for me alone. ²Salvation waits until I take this part as what I choose to do. ³Until I make this choice, I am the slave of time and human destiny. ⁴But when I willingly and gladly go the way my Father’s plan appointed me to go, then will I recognize salvation is already here, already given all my brothers and already mine as well.

Father, Your way is what I choose today. ²Where it would lead me do I choose to go; what it would have me do I choose to do. ³Your way is certain, and the end secure. ⁴The memory of You awaits me there. ⁵And all my sorrows end in Your embrace, which You have promised to Your Son, who thought mistakenly that he had wandered from the sure protection of Your loving Arms. The choice to follow the Holy Spirit is the choice for peace and happiness. Today we practice stepping back from our interpretations. We do not know on our own what anything means. But by stepping back to open to the Holy Spirit’s lead, we see the presence of Love all around us. We are open to see past appearances in form. We see beyond them to the Love that is the truth in everyone, including ourselves.

We choose happiness and peace today. We choose to follow Love.

Remembering We Are One with God

Christ is God’s Son as He created Him. ²He is the Self we share, uniting us with one another, and with God as well. ³He is the Thought which still abides within the Mind that is His Source. ⁴He has not left His holy home, nor lost the innocence in which He was created. ⁵He abides unchanged forever in the Mind of God.

Christ is the link that keeps you one with God, and guarantees that separation is no more than an illusion of despair, for hope forever will abide in Him. ²Your mind is part of His, and His of yours. ³He is the part in which God’s Answer lies; where all decisions are already made, and dreams are over. ⁴He remains untouched by anything the body’s eyes perceive. ⁵For though in Him His Father placed the means for your salvation, yet does He remain the Self Who, like His Father, knows no sin.

Home of the Holy Spirit, and at home in God alone, does Christ remain at peace within the Heaven of your holy mind. ²This is the only part of you that has reality in truth. ³The rest is dreams. ⁴Yet will these dreams be given unto Christ, to fade before His glory and reveal your holy Self, the Christ, to you at last. Remembering our true Self is remembering Christ. He is not limited to any body. We do not experience ourselves as the Christ because we have sworn allegiance to the ego, the thought system which wanted separation to be real. We want to have private thoughts. But this is not possible for the part of our mind that is forever united with its Creator.

Today we choose to step back from our allegiance to the ego. We want the peace of God. We want the happiness that is our inheritance.
