Accepting Our Limitlessness

Everything in this world is little because it is a world made out of littleness, in the strange belief that littleness can content you. When you strive for anything in this world in the belief that it will bring you peace, you are belittling yourself and blinding yourself to glory.

Yet what you do not realize, each time you choose, is that your choice is your evaluation of yourself. Choose littleness and you will not have peace, for you will have judged yourself unworthy of it.

All your striving must be directed against littleness, for it does require vigilance to protect your magnitude in this world. To hold your magnitude in perfect awareness in a world of littleness is a task the little cannot undertake. Yet it is asked of you, in tribute to your magnitude and not your littleness. Nor is it asked of you alone. The power of God will support every effort you make on behalf of His dear Son.

…“Would you be hostage to the ego or host to God?” Let this question be asked you by the Holy Spirit every time you make a decision. …Every decision you make is for Heaven or for hell, and brings you the awareness of what you decided for.” (A Course in Miracles, T-15.III.1:5-6;2:1-2;4:4-8;5:1-2,7. Our true Self shares the limitlessness of our Creator. The Love, joy and peace of our true Nature can no more be limited than can God. This world is an attempt to limit the unlimited, to exchange littleness or God’s Magnitude. As long as we believe our identity is limited to this world, we will feel incomplete and little.

But we have not lost our magnitude in God. It remains the truth of what we were created to be. In every moment of every day, we choose between accepting the magnitude of our true Identity or the littleness of the ego’s substitute identity, limited to a body and bound to die. Thankfully we have Help to guide us out of this mistaken belief to awaken to our limitlessness.

The practice of keeping our mind open to the Holy Spirit’s guidance helps us choose on behalf of our true Self instead of the ego. It is the choice between heaven and hell. Our vigilance in this practice is supported by the power of God. For His Will is that we remain within His safe embrace, forever whole, forever Love and forever loving in peace and joy.
