Choose to Rest in the Truth

Every day there seems to be a tug of war between which part of my mind I’m going to give attention to. Am I going to continue with the old habit of subscribing to the ego thought system? Or am I going to shift my attention to the Holy Spirit, the truth in my mind? The first option always brings uncertainty and at least an underlying, if not overt fear and guilt. The second option brings deep peace, confidence and the joy of knowing that I am Love and nothing else.

Looking at the consequences of these options, the obvious choice is to welcome the truth in my mind and disregard the ego thought system. With the strength of the Holy Spirit in me, I can reverse the old habit and choose to rest in the truth in my mind. This is my practice today.
