Clearing the Way for Inspiration

Robert:
What do I want? My answer to that question determines what I experience. If I want to be unique and special, to manipulate my experience so that it appears that I alone am in control, then the world of separation will seem real to me. If I want only Love, if I want only the quiet joy of unity, then I will experience Love.

I have been deeply invested in wanting individuality. I am learning, though, that this does not give me what I really want. In the transition from that mistaken investment into the experience of oneness, it seems as though I toggle back and forth between buying the “reality” of the images of the world hook, line and sinker, and having glimpses of the quiet joy of unity in Love.

The key is not to condemn myself from buying the false images but rather to use each moment for practice in affirming my intension to join with Love. To all things I can say, “I love you” to the Divine Love that is beyond the image. As I focus on the Divinity, the image has less and less value. As its importance fades, the images the body’s eyes show me have less and less effect on my certainty of my safety in Love.

Today I will practice joining with the Love in all things. I love you.

Mary:
Today I will practice remembering that I know nothing. Today I will practice being open-minded instead of closed-minded by thinking I already know what is true.

Today I will practice choosing peace, which brings the open-mindedness that is so important to clearing the way for Holy Spirit’s inspiration. Today is for letting go and letting God.
