The Peace Pool

Robert:
There is an image in my mind of a large, clear container filled with what appears to be clear water, like a sea aquarium. There is nothing in the container but this clear liquid.

The thought comes to me to take my disturbing thoughts and put them in this liquid. So I put my questions about the future in the container. An amazing thing happens. The liquid starts to bubble, like carbonated water. The bubbles coming out of the liquid are bubbles of peace. I just keep bringing everything that comes to mind and putting it in this pool. It continues to effervesce peace.

I put every judgment that comes to mind in the pool and more peace bubbles up. I put people with different political views in the pool and peace bubbles up. I put people with similar political views in the pool and peace bubbles up. It’s clear that if I put any image from the world in this pool, it will disappear and peace will bubble up. All that remains is peace.

Today, I will practice bringing all images to this peace pool to let peace be everywhere, always.

Mary:
I really appreciate Robert’s image of the peace pool. I have often used the image of putting things on God’s Altar, where everything I put there is transformed into God’s Light. I so appreciate the Holy Spirit giving us these images that help with letting go or forgiving the dream.

I am again reminded that there is nothing outside my mind. Everything I see in the outer world is a projection that I am real-izing. Putting things in the peace pool or on God’s Altar are very helpful to aid me in undoing my belief in the dream of separation. As I let my perceptions of separation be undone, peace returns. Now the undoing of my belief in the dream of separation is what time is for. Today I will practice putting everything I see with the body’s eyes in God’s peace pool. The feeling of peace grows stronger even as I think of doing this all through the day.
