Accepting Holy Spirit’s Bridge to Peace

To be at peace we need to be willing to accept and follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit’s purpose to translate the certainty, safety and peace of God into forms we can experience and understand in the dream of separation.

The ego interprets every situation in terms of how it may affect the body and our individual identity. The Holy Spirit knows that we are neither the body nor an individual identity. But He understands that we believe that we are an individual body, separate from all others. His job is to bridge between the truth of what we are and God is and the belief we hold in our false identity.

Today we dedicate our willingness to practice opening to Holy Spirit’s vision and interpretation of Truth. Holy Spirit will provide a bridge we can follow out of the false world and return to awareness of our one true Self. As we follow the Holy Spirit’s bridge, we make way for the certainty and peace of God to fill our awareness. We make way for God’s Love to be expressed through us as our vision is opened to the recognition of our brothers as one with us in Love.

We Open to the Light of Love Today

Holy Spirit, we follow Your lead today. We open to accepting Your peace. We open to accepting Your joy. We open to Your vision to see the innocence in everyone. We listen and receive Your help to be Love’s messengers today.

Undoing Belief in Differences Heals

The Holy Spirit must work through you to teach you He is in you. This is an intermediary step toward the knowledge that you are in God because you are part of Him.

All abilities should therefore be given over to the Holy Spirit, Who understands how to use them properly. He uses them only for healing, because He knows you only as whole. By healing you learn of wholeness, and by learning of wholeness you learn to remember God.

The ego always seeks to divide and separate. The Holy Spirit always seeks to unify and heal. As you heal you are healed, because the Holy Spirit sees no order of difficulty in healing. Healing is the way to undo the belief in differences, being the only way of perceiving the Sonship as one. (A Course in Miracles, T-7.IV.2:12;4:1-3;5:2-5)

In truth we are one in God’s Light; there are no differences. As we open to the Light within, we learn to see beyond differences to the unified Love and Light that is eternally there. This is how we heal and are healed. Today we let the Holy Spirit work through us to see past all differences to the unifying Light of Love Which is ever present everywhere.

Letting Misperceptions Be Corrected

[The Holy Spirit] has perfect power to offset the world of violence and hate that seems to stand between you and His gentleness. It is not there in His forgiving eyes. And therefore it need not be there in yours.

The Son of God could never sin, but he can wish for what would hurt him. And he has the power to think he can be hurt. What could this be except a misperception of himself? Is this a sin or a mistake, forgivable or not? Does he need help or condemnation? Is it your purpose that he be saved or damned? Forgetting not that what he is to you will make this choice your future? (A Course in Miracles, T-25.III.8:1-3;9.:1-7)

Today we dedicate to welcoming Holy Spirit’s vision. As we are willing to see through His forgiving eyes, the purpose of the world is changed from trying to make sin real to accepting the Holy Spirit’s purpose — to forgive all errors and welcome the Light of Love. As we accept His purpose, our experience of the world is gentle, peaceful and joyful. We are worth the effort to diligently bring all our perceptions to the Holy Spirit for His gentle correction.

You Are God’s Messenger of Peace

When our mind is cluttered and we think we already have the answers ourselves, we block awareness of God’s peace. Now is the time to open our mind to God’s peace… Now is the time to be receptive and openminded enough to receive God’s peace… 

We let our minds quiet and welcome in the Light of peace… If distracting thoughts come in, we gently let them pass by… We know we have a mighty purpose to fulfill — to let our minds be filled with God’s peace and extend it to the world.

As we accept God’s peace, the Light of Truth comes with it… And we resonate with the peace that resides in everyone… We are able to see past the distractions of the world and remember what is truly important — what is eternally real… We are carried by peace to be truly helpful in every situation we encounter. And we are grateful that this is so. We are grateful that we are willing to be God’s messengers of peace.

Peace First

Our priority for today is to notice our level of peace with every circumstance we encounter. We watch to be aware if something comes up that displaces our peace.

We remember that peace is our highest priority and we open our minds to the Holy Spirit to bring us a change of mind whenever we notice our peace has been disturbed… We ask for peace and receive peace because peace is our highest priority… We want mind healing so we open to receive mind healing from the Holy Spirit…

Because peace is an attribute of Love, Love always comes with the return of peace, followed by the awareness that we are so blessed…  We are filled with gratitude… We remember that nothing can happen to change God’s one Son… 

God is… Love is… There is nothing else in Truth… All this comes to us as we remember, peace first.

Offering Our Judgments to the Holy Spirit

Today we would offer all our judgments to You, Holy Spirit… We are willing to accept Your interpretation of all things in place of ours… Help us to see past the false images of separation to the changeless Love that is everywhere…

We would be clear channels of Your Love as we fulfill our purpose to extend Love and nothing else… With Your help we will reflect Love in all our doing in the world…
