Today We Lighten Up

Today is the day to celebrate the truth about ourselves and give as we receive… As we receive God’s gifts, we gladly share them with all… Today we extend our Love… our peace… our gentleness… We freely receive the truth and give the truth… as we go through every part of our day.

We let ourselves remember that we rest in God… along with every brother… We use this day for our practice of receiving and giving the truth… What can be more important than this? Today we lighten up.

Accepting the Gift of Perfect Happiness

It’s time to give up our attachment to a separate identity. Belief in separation is the denial of God’s Love. The effect of this denial is loneliness, guilt and depression.

God’s will for us is perfect happiness. If we are not experiencing it, then we are simply refusing God’s gift. The gift has been given. His Love is already ours. Refusal to accept God’s Love simply makes us unaware of it.

In any moment we can let go of our investment in separation and accept the joy that comes with God’s gift of perfect happiness and Love. Why not today? All that blocks this experience from our awareness is simply a mistaken belief that can be undone.

Today we ask the Holy Spirit to guide our thoughts and help us let go of the self-imposed limitation of separation thinking. As we accept His Help, we will learn to recognize the thoughts that deny God’s gift and let them go. Each mistaken thought released brings us closer to the full experience of perfect happiness. We are willing to practice today.

Let Yourself Be Carried Today

Let yourself be carried by focusing on stepping back and listening to your inner Teacher. As your constant receptivity strengthens, you see that the Holy Spirit is always with you, helping you rise above to see the Love. Your trust in Holy Spirit’s guidance grows day by day. You know that the perfect circumstances always present themselves for your perfect continued growth. You feel Holy Spirit’s gentleness and kindness as you are guided ever so carefully through the maze of illusion. You are guided to see everything differently. You are guided to see past the forms of differences to the one Love that is behind all illusions.

As you continue your practice, your confidence in following your inner Guide is strong. You feel safe and secure that everyone who comes into your life is now a means to further your awakening to the Truth. You feel calm and certain that you have everything you need as you continue letting the Holy Spirit lead you Home. You relax into letting yourself be carried.

Remembering Our Home in Heaven

Minds that are joined and recognize they are, can feel no guilt. For they cannot attack, and they rejoice that this is so, seeing their safety in this happy fact. Their joy is in the innocence they see. And thus they seek for it, because it is their purpose to behold it and rejoice.

Those who offer peace to everyone have found a home in Heaven the world cannot destroy. (A Course in Miracles, T-25.IV.1:1-4;4:9)

Joy comes with seeing innocence. When judgment is set aside, the Light of Love that is the truth behind all appearances shines through. This Light of Love is in us, hidden only by judgment. As we let go of judgment, as we forgive, the real world rises to our awareness. We recognize our brothers are one with us.

In gratitude we welcome them. And if a brother appears to be in fear or guilt, we respond with Love and gentleness. It is another opportunity to extend Love and experience It’s blessing. Thus we offer peace to the world and remember our Home in Heaven.

We Release the Past

It is our belief in the past that prevents us from seeing anyone or anything clearly, from seeing the truth about them. By releasing the past, we open to receive Christ’s vision and can now see the truth in everyone and everything. Free of the past, we remember our one purpose is to extend Love to everyone and everything we see.

As we accept Holy Spirit’s help today, we will learn to recognize the changeless Love behind every appearance. In that recognition, the Love we are will join with that Love that is shared with all. The vision of Christ shows us this Love and recognizes Love’s innocence and joy. This is what we will see as we release the past. This is our practice for today.

I Let Myself Be Lifted Up

Today I let myself be lifted above the battleground of judgment, fear and guilt and into the tranquility of Holy Spirit’s vision… I choose to look past all appearances of separation to see the truth of Unity… And as I ask in my heart of hearts, I receive… Where I saw fear, I now see Love. Where I once saw guilt, I now see innocence… Where I once saw lack, I now see an abundance of Love…

All this comes as I let myself be lifted up above the battleground by the Holy Spirit. And for this I am truly grateful.

Being in the Flow of Love

Today it is our purpose to open to the gentle flow of Love… Love is being extended to All all the time… As we are open to Love’s flow, it carries us with ease all through the day… We become aware of Love’s Presence everywhere because Love sees only Love…. Instead of separation we see oneness and Love… There is a feeling of gentleness, calmness and patience… We follow Love’s lead in gratitude because we know It is leading us Home where we belong…

All this comes as we practice being in the flow of Love.
