Let Holy Spirit Interpret Everything

The early workbook lessons of A Course in Miracles emphasize that we do not know what anything means. I am seeing more and more how essential this idea is to the release from the hell of separation. Being my own interpreter of anything I perceive through the body’s eyes is simply the temptation to perceive myself as a body, separate and alone. In this perception, it is impossible to know the Love of God. It is impossible to feel safe.

But as I am willing to soften my insistence on being my own interpreter and relinquish all my interpretations to the Holy Spirit, I open the door to true vision, Christ’s vision. Holy Spirit will always show me the truth that lies beyond the veil of a concept of separation. As I am willing to receive it, Holy Spirit will show me the brilliant Light of Love that is my brother and myself.

With Holy Spirit as my interpreter, I will see the one Self of Love that I share with all. Here is peace that cannot be disturbed. Here is the safety of changelessness. This is everything I seek. Today my dedication is to be vigilant to let the Holy Spirit interpret everything on my behalf.

To become aware of the one Self we all share, I must practice stepping back from ego thoughts all through the day. I must be willing to practice looking at all my thoughts with Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit always shows me that Love is always there behind every form of separation, every separate identity. Accepting Holy Spirit’s interpretation is what today is for.
